摘要： A rotary knob for operating an electronically actuable deadbolt is described herein. According to some embodiments, the rotary knob includes a chassis, an outer wall rotatably coupled to the chassis about a central axis of the knob, a cantilevered beam attached to an inner surface of the outer wall and extending towards the central axis of the knob such that the beam is configured to rotate with the outer wall about the central axis, a circuit board coupled to the chassis, the circuit board including signal traces, and an electrical contact extending from the cantilevered beam in a direction toward the signal traces and electrically connectable with the signal traces. A controller of the rotary knob is configured to determine a position of the deadbolt based on at least the state of the electrical connection between the electrical contact and the signal traces.

摘要： A security system is coupled to a door lock system at a dwelling. A lock device is provided with a lock and a drive shaft. An intelligent door lock system includes: a door status device configured to couple to the drive shaft of the lock device, the door status device determining lock or unlock status of a the lock device, an engine that provides power to lock and unlock the lock and coupled to the door status device, the engine coupled to at least one wireless communication device at the dwelling configured to with a mobile device of a dwelling occupant for communication with the intelligent door lock system to lock or unlock the door, a circuit coupled to the engine, and an energy source coupled to the circuit and providing power to lock or unlock the door, wherein an occupant/owner, or end-user of the dwelling communicates with a server to grant third party access to the dwelling. A security system is configured to be coupled to the intelligent door lock system. The security system includes a video apparatus that captures video is coupled to a motion detection device to take a video of an image of the person or an outline of the person. The video apparatus is configured to provide communication with a communication device of the third party. In response to a communication with the video apparatus and the communication device of the third party, the third party is granted controlled access to the dwelling.

摘要： An intelligent door lock and remote access system includes a mobile device with a controller that transmits a first signal. A lock device has a controller and an accelerometer. In response to a receipt of the first signal the mobile device begins a process for locking and unlocking a door where the lock is located. The lock device includes a controller and an accelerator, with the accelerator acting upon processing of the first signal and in response causing a rotation of an element coupled to the accelerator to unlock the door.

摘要： A wireless access control system is provided to lock or unlock a first door at a dwelling of a user. A user remote access device accepts input based on haptic feedback or motion. The user remote access device is configured to be in communication with an intelligent door lock system at a dwelling with a door and associated lock. The intelligent door lock system includes: a position sensing device coupled to a drive shaft, with the position sensing device sensing position of the drive shaft and configured to assist in locking and unlocking the lock, an engine with a memory coupled to the positioning sensing device and the drive shaft, and an energy source configured to provide electrical energy. When the user remote access device is at an exterior of the dwelling, and in a close proximity to the dwelling, in response to the user remote access device accepting input based on haptic feedback or motion, the bolt is caused to move and the first lock is locked or unlocked. The user remote access device is configured to be in communication with a second lock at a vehicle of the user or at an office of the user. In response to the user remote access device accepting input based on haptic feedback or motion the second lock is locked or unlocked. The remote access device has a controller for using haptic motion to lock or unlock locks.

摘要： A wireless access control system is provided to lock or unlock a first door at a dwelling of a user. A user remote access device accepts input based on haptic feedback or motion. The user remote access device is in communication with an intelligent door lock system at the dwelling with the first door. The intelligent door lock system including: a position sensing device configured to be coupled to a drive shaft of a lock device with a bolt, the position sensing device sensing position of the drive shaft to assist in locking and unlocking the first lock of the lock device, an engine with a memory coupled to the position sensing device, the engine configured to execute software instructions relative to the positioning sensing device and an energy source coupled to the circuit. In response to the user remote access device accepting input based on haptic feedback or motion the bolt is caused to move and the first lock is locked or unlocked. The intelligent door lock system allows controlled access to the dwelling that includes an occupant of the dwelling as well as a designated third person granted access rights by the occupant. The user remote access device is in communication with a second lock at a vehicle of the user or at an office of the user. In response to the user remote access device accepting input based on haptic feedback or motion the second lock is locked or unlocked. The remote access device has a controller for using haptic motion to lock or unlock locks.
