    • An electric device includes a communication unit to communicate with at least one of a gateway and a plurality of other electric devices, and a controller to broadcast a request signal for searching for a gateway, communicate with the gateway on the basis of a search response signal after transmission of the gateway response signal from at least one of the gateway and the plurality of other electric devices, and transmit a registration request signal to a power management unit through the gateway. Thus, the electric device can be automatically registered/re-registered in the electric device or be deleted from the electric device, a power management system and electric devices can be easily managed. If the user moves the electric device from a current position to another position, the power management system recognizes the movement and informs the user of the recognition result.

    • A light guide plate and a liquid crystal display device having the same. The light guide plate is disposed upstream of a liquid crystal panel to refract light supplied through an edge thereof, toward the liquid crystal panel. In the light guide plate, a plate body is disposed at a side of a light source for supplying light when a supply voltage is applied. A plurality of pyramidal diffusing elements are arrayed in a predetermined pattern on a surface of the plate body. Each of the diffusing elements is rotated clockwise or counterclockwise about an axis extending through a vertex of the diffusing element perpendicularly to the surface of the plate body so that an edge of the diffusing element facing a reference line connecting a central point of the light source to a central point of the plate body is angled 10° to 35° about the reference line.

    • Provided are a method for forming a transparent electrode and a semiconductor device where the transparent electrode is formed by using the method. The method for forming a transparent electrode includes: forming a transparent electrode by using a transparent material of which resistance state is to be changed from a high resistance state into a low resistance state according to an applied electric field; and performing a forming process of changing the resistance state of the transparent electrode into the low resistance state by applying a voltage to the transparent electrode, so that the transparent electrode has conductivity. Accordingly, it is possible to form the transparent electrode having good ohmic characteristic with respect to the semiconductor layer formed above or below the transparent electrode and high transmittance with respect to the light having a short wavelength in a UV wavelength range as well as the light in visible wavelength range.

    • Provided are a method for forming a transparent electrode and a semiconductor device where the transparent electrode is formed by using the method.
