    • The present invention provides a method and a device for adjusting the sleep mode of a mobile station in order to solve the problem in current multi-hop relay systems of long time delays in data transmission caused when data packets have to wait for the next listening window to reach the mobile station because of packet errors. Wherein, a relay apparatus judges whether the previous hop network apparatus needs to retransmit data packets to the mobile station; when the previous hop network apparatus needs to retransmit data packets to the mobile station, the relay apparatus transmits to the mobile station the adjustment related information for adjusting the sleep mode of the mobile station. The mobile station adjusts the sleep mode according to the adjustment related information. Preferably, the adjustment related information comprises indicating information for indicating that the mobile station is in triggered listening status within predetermined time interval. In addition, the relay apparatus may also report the adjustment related information to the previous hop network apparatus. The technical solution provided by the present invention obtains shorter time delays, utilizes wireless resources efficiently, and decreases demand on relay apparatus.

    • The present invention provides a network access method and system for Machine Type Communications (MTC), wherein the method comprises the following steps: an MTC device sends a preamble to a base station; the base station sends a Random Access Response (RAR) to the MTC device; if the RAR does not contain a temporary access resource assignment indication, the MTC device sends a Layer 2/Layer 3 message to the base station; otherwise, the MTC device re-attempts to perform network access; the base station sends a contention resolution message to the MTC device; if the contention resolution message contains a self-identification contained in the Layer 2/Layer 3 message sent by the MTC device, the network access is completed; if the contention resolution message contains the temporary access resource assignment indication, the MTC device re-attempts to perform the network access; otherwise, the MTC device attempts to perform the network access using the originally used access resource again. According to the present invention, it is enabled to dynamically and quickly perform assignment and release of MTC access resources based on actual access resource collisions, which thereby avoids waste of uplink resources in a semi-static configuration, reduces the possibility of collision, and protects normal access of non-MTC devices.

    • The present invention is directed to provide a relay method in a wireless access system, including comprising the following steps: in downlink direction, receiving downlink data from a base station, wherein the downlink data include control information for relay operation; constructing downlink data to be retransmitted; retransmitting the constructed downlink data to wireless communication terminals according to a profile specified by the control information; and, in uplink direction, receiving uplink data from the wireless communication terminals according to a profile specified by the control information; recovering the uplink data of the wireless communication terminals; and retransmitting the uplink data to the base station according to the profile specified by the control information. The present invention further provides the corresponding base station device, relay device and wireless relay system. Through the present invention, the base station is able to perform centralized control of the entire mobile multi-hop relay system, which effectively reduces the complexity of the relay device and can realize a transparent transportation with respect to wireless communication terminals.

    • The present invention provides two primary Hybrid Automatic Repeat reQuest (HARQ) mechanisms for a multi-hop network, i.e. an active Mobile Multi-hop Relaying (MMR) HARQ and a passive Mobile Multi-hop Relaying (MMR) HARQ. According to the solution of the present invention, there are provided a method and a device for HARQ retransmission in relay stations of a wireless communication network, wherein in HARQ retransmission, the HARQ procedure is implemented based on resource allocated by a base station; and a method and device for HARQ in a base station, characterized in that a HARQ procedure is implemented in-between one or more relay stations and a mobile station. With the methods of the present invention, the HARQ problems existing in a multi-hop network are overcome, the correction rate of data transmission is improved, while time delay for data transmission is reduced.
