摘要： A lock for computer security has housing comprising a bottom wall, at least one side wall and a front wall with a corner region defined adjacent to both the bottom wall and the at least one side wall. A combination-based locking assembly comprises a locking assembly body holding at least two locking elements including a main locking element and a movable locking element, both said locking elements being supported by the locking assembly body, and the main locking element extending from and away from the locking assembly body at the front wall of the lock housing. A driver is coupled to the movable locking element, configured to selectively move the movable locking element in frontwise and rearwise directions, and controlled by a locking mechanism. The locking assembly is secured to the housing at the corner region thereof, with the locking elements located directly adjacent both the bottom wall and the at least one side wall. A key-based lock enables overriding the combination-based locking assembly to unlock the movable locking element even while the combination lock is in a locked state.

The rod slides relative to the cylinder when the slot is aligned with the protrusion on the rod.

The cavity has a size and shape slightly larger than the cross-sectional size of the forward section of the locking element and an interior larger in cross-sectional size than the opening of the cavity. A slidable locking pin slides alongside the locking element and into the cavity, substantially filling the space of the cavity.

The device comprises a block-shaped housing (10) with a key-operated mechanism (30) comprising a rotor. A slidable locking element is coupled to the rotor so that upon rotation of the rotor by 180° in one or the opposite directions by turning the key, a locking element slides over a certain distance in one or the opposite directions. A cavity is formed in the housing configured to accommodate therein both ear-like extensions (20c; 20d). For locking the container, the locking element is driven in the direction of and across the cavity and openings.

摘要： An anti-theft device for arresting portable objects such as TV or VCR sets to a stationary base. The device comprises a first elongated block member formed with a recess extending therealong, the recess having a series of undercut profiled portions and a series of non-undercut portions, arranged in staggered relationship. A second, complementary, elongated block member is used, formed with a projecting rib extending therealong, the rib having a series of portions slidably fitting the said undercut portions, and a series of portions freely insertable into the said undercut portions of the first member, arranged in the same staggered relationship. Locking means are provided for interlocking the members to each other after being engaged by matching the said portions and bringing the members into an overlapping position.
