摘要： Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for efficiently collecting and reporting minimization of drive test (MDT) measurements for one or more radio access technology (RAT) types and/or for multiple base stations in a dual connectivity deployment. In one example, a user equipment (UE) may receive an MDT measurement configuration indicating a first RAT type for collecting measurements and a second RAT type for reporting measurements. In this example, the UE may use the measurement configuration to collect MDT measurements for the first RAT type, and the UE may report the MDT measurements to a base station associated with the second RAT. Further techniques for efficiently collecting and reporting MDT measurements in a dual connectivity deployment are also described herein.

A user equipment (UE) may identify that the UE is operating in a dual-connectivity configuration with a master node (MN) and a secondary node (SN). The UE may receive at least one request that the UE report MDT measurements. The UE may perform a first portion of measurements associated with the first base station and perform a second portion of measurements associated with the second base station. The UE may perform the measurements while the UE is operating in the dual-connectivity configuration. The UE may transmit one or more reports including information indicative of the first portion of measurements, information indicative of the second portion of measurements, or both.

The predetermined event may comprise expiration of a timer set for at least one of the two or more carriers, storing data in a buffer having a higher transmission priority than data previously stored in the buffer, or changing at least one of the two or more carriers from being served by a first cell to being served by a second cell.

摘要： Techniques for controlling data transmission are described. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) determines whether to send a packet based on available transmit power. The UE determines a first packet size based on the available transmit power and sends a packet of the first packet size if it is equal to or larger than a minimum packet size. The UE sends a packet of a second packet size (e.g., the minimum packet size) if the first packet size is smaller than the minimum packet size and if at least one condition is met, e.g., the available transmit power is greater than a power threshold and the delay of a packet to send is larger than a delay threshold. In another aspect, the UE operates in a discontinuous transmission (DTX) mode and cancels the DTX mode if the delay of a packet to send exceeds a threshold.

摘要： A method for using a flexible size radio link control (RLC) protocol data unit (PDU) on an uplink is described. A request for an RLC PDU is received from a medium access control (MAC) layer. Radio conditions for a first uplink carrier and a second uplink carrier are determined. A size of the RLC PDU is selected based on the radio conditions. The RLC PDU is generated. The RLC PDU is sent to the MAC layer.
