摘要： Described and claimed herein are combinatorial synthetic Fab libraries displayed on a phage pIX protein. The libraries were built on scaffolds representing the most frequently used genes in human antibodies, which were diversified to mirror the variability of natural antibodies. After selection using a diverse panel of proteins, numerous specific and high-affinity Fabs were isolated. By a process called in-line maturation the affinity of some antibodies was improved up to one hundred-fold yielding low pM binders suitable for in vivo use. This work thus demonstrates the feasibility of displaying complex Fab libraries as pIX-fusion proteins for antibody discovery and lays the foundations for studies on the structure-function relationship of antibodies.

摘要： A crystalline Form II of 17β-N-[2,5-bis (trifluoromethyl)phenyl]carbamoyl-4-aza-5-α-androst-1-en-3-one (dutasteride) is provided. The preferred crystalline Form II of dutasteride has an X-ray powder diffraction pattern, expressed in terms of d-spacing (in ° A), with peaks at about 13.42, 6.96, 6.13, 5.27, 4.77, 4.70, 4.58, 4.46 and 3.82. A process for preparation of a crystalline Form II of dutasteride is also provided and includes dissolving a crude form of dutasteride in an alcoholic solvent having from 1 to 5 carbon atoms; removing the alcoholic solvent to obtain a residue; adding an ester solvent to the residue; and filtering the resulting separated solids. The processes of the invention are believed to be simple, eco-friendly, and commercially viable.

摘要： Bias circuitry that may be used within a communications or other device includes a first current mirror having first and second transistors with sources coupled to ground and operable to receive a reference current at a drain of first transistor. A second current mirror has first and second transistors with drains coupled to a battery voltage supply. A third current mirror has first and second transistors with drains coupled to sources of the first and second transistors of the second current mirror, respectively. A biasing transistor couples between the second transistor of the first current mirror and the first transistor of the third current mirror and operable to receive a tuning input voltage at its gate. A resistive element coupled between the second transistor of the third current mirror and ground produces a bias voltage produced at a connection of the resistive element and the second transistor of the third current mirror.
