摘要： A hollow expansion chamber of the present invention is configured to temporarily contain an expansion of bubbles during an aeration process for aerating a liquid, where a chamber body of the expansion chamber has an oblate spheroid shape. When moving circumferentially downward along the chamber body starting from a maximum inside diameter, the oblate spheroidal shape of a bottom portion has a first integral transition that is a tangential transition to a first frustoconical shape. Continuing moving circumferentially downward, the first frustoconical shape has a second integral transition to a cylindrical extension. The cylindrical extension at a distal end has a bottom opening configured to fit within an opened bottleneck. The first frustoconical shape has a minimum angle of 15 degrees relative to a horizontal plane. The second integral transition is a radial second integral transition having an inside surface radius of at least 0.25 inches.

摘要： A rainproof pair of pants or a waterproof pair of waders includes a rigid frame sealed in a waterproof. The frame forms a frame aperture and a rigid lid is pivotably connected to the frame. A seal is disposed between the frame and the lid forming a waterproof closure of the frame aperture. When the density of the frame is first set to be 0.04 pounds per cubic inch and when the frame and lid are scaled so an area of the frame aperture is first set to be 7.205 inches squared, then the following is true: a mass moment of inertia taken at the frame center of mass about the frame x-axis is equal to or greater than 0.19 pound square feet; and a mass moment of inertia taken at the frame center of mass about the y-axis is equal to or greater than 0.27 pound square feet.

A gas source is connectable to the proximal end of the gas conduit and is in fluidic communication with the gas conduit, wherein the gas source comprises an air pump having an adjustable flow rate of at least 0.1 liters per minute up to a maximum of 20 liters per minute. A bubble-generating aeration element is disposed at the distal end of the gas conduit and in fluidic communication with the gas conduit. The bubble-generating aeration element comprises a porous material having an average pore size of at least 1 micron up to a maximum of 500 microns.

摘要： A wine aerator includes a seal configured to engage an opening of an uncorked wine bottle. A gas conduit passes through the seal and is configured to be attachable to a gas source supplying air and/or oxygen inside the uncorked wine bottle thereby aerating the wine. A bubble-generating aeration element is disposed at the gas conduit distal end. A bubble-reducing filter element is in fluidic communication with the inside and outside of the uncorked wine bottle through the seal, wherein the bubble-reducing filter element is disposed at, near and/or within the seal. When the seal is engaged with the opening of the uncorked wine bottle the bubble-reducing filter element separates the inside from the outside of the uncorked wine bottle. The bubble-reducing filter element helps to reduce the amount of bubbles that are being generated from the wine aerator during the aeration process.

摘要： An improved fishing or hunting wader, exposure suit or foul weather pants/bib incorporates a novel waterproof connectable hatch to provide access for urination. The low profile and lightweight waterproof hatch is centered over the groin area and allows the wearer of a fishing wader, or similar foul weather gear pants, to be able to quickly open the hatch and urinate without removing the cumbersome garment. A hinged or connectable lid may swing upwards and downwards and features a hook-and-loop fastener, a magnetic, or mechanical fastener so that the lid is held up in place and out of the way. After urination, the lid may conveniently snap back into place against a seal or O-ring thereby forming a water tight seal.

摘要： A composite RF current attenuator for a medical lead includes a conductor having a distal electrode contactable to biological cells, a bandstop filter in series with the lead conductor for attenuating RF currents flow through the lead conductor at a selected center frequency or across a range of frequencies about the center frequency, and a lowpass filter in series with the bandstop filter and forming a portion of the lead conductor. The bandstop filter has a capacitance in parallel with a first inductance. In a preferred form, the lowpass filter includes a second inductance in series with the bandstop filter, wherein the values of capacitance and inductances for the composite RF current attenuator are selected such that it attenuates MRI-induced RF current flow in an MRI environment.

摘要： A band stop filter is provided for a lead wire of an active medical device (AMD). The band stop filter includes a capacitor in parallel with an inductor. The parallel capacitor and inductor are placed in series with the lead wire of the AMD, wherein values of capacitance and inductance are selected such that the band stop filter is resonant at a selected frequency. The Q of the inductor may be relatively maximized and the Q of the capacitor may be relatively minimized to reduce the overall Q of the band stop filter to attenuate current flow through the lead wire along a range of selected frequencies. In a preferred form, the band stop filter is integrated into a TIP and/or RING electrode for an active implantable medical device.
