    • A guided vehicle includes a guidance unit having first and second V-mounted guide pulleys resting on first and second running surfaces of a guide rail. The running surfaces are on sides of a median longitudinal plane of the guide rail and each pulley has a flange for freely gripping the guide rail. A device and method protecting against loss of vehicle guidance include a section with longitudinal height fixed along its length to a guide rail part, between running surfaces, the section having a cross-section guiding the unit during derailment or loss of guidance thereof with the section fixed to the guide rail part. The cross-section geometry holds the first pulley flange on the side of the median plane including the first pulley running surface and the second pulley flange on the side including the second pulley running surface. A device fixes the section to the guide rail.

    • A continuous running track to be supported by a bridge structure includes at least two bridge segments, a load-bearing structure to support the segments, a continuous slab extending from one end to the other end of the bridge and resting on the segments, an antifriction layer beneath the continuous slab, acting as an interface between the upper surface of the segment and the lower surface of the continuous slab and defining a slip plane for the continuous slab, and a crossing plate beneath the continuous slab, extending from one end of a segment to an end of a directly adjacent segment. At least one anti-lift device to be fixed to a segment is capable of limiting a movement of the slab in a direction perpendicular to the slip plane while providing for freedom of movement of the slab on the slip plane.

    • A method and a system determine track availability. The system is configured to be fitted to a guided vehicle liable to move downstream on a track. The system contains at least one camera able to capture images of a downstream section of track. The downstream section being a track portion extending from a first point of the track located downstream of the guided vehicle to a second point of the track located downstream of the guided vehicle. The distance separating the camera from the second point is being greater than the distance separating it from the first point. At least one image processing and analysis device is provided and is able to analyze each image taken by each camera, to locate the downstream section therein, to determine first a downstream safety distance, and second an availability state of the track between the first point and the second point.
