摘要： This disclosure describes a distributed reader architecture for a mobile computing device such as cellular telephone handset. One claim recites a portable computing device including: memory for storing a library of processing components, the library including a signal detector component and an audio fingerprinting component; a microphone for capturing ambient audio; one or more processors configured for: invoking the audio fingerprinting component for processing captured audio to produce an audio fingerprint, wherein the audio fingerprinting component comprises a filtering process, in which the filtering process produces components of the captured audio that are used to produce the audio fingerprint; and invoking the signal detector component, in which the signal detector component comprises a fast detect process for analyzing the captured audio to determine the presence of an auxiliary signal within the captured audio, and when the presence of the auxiliary signal is detected, controlling the signal detector component for detecting the auxiliary signal to yield a detected auxiliary signal. The device further includes a communications output for communicating the audio fingerprint and the detected auxiliary signal to a remotely located server. 摘要： Debugging information for content rendered for display on a client device can be included in one or more watermarks inserted into the content. Performance, state, configuration, debugging, and other information can be encoded into a watermark and placed in rendered content in such a way that the information is imperceptible to most users. When a user reports a potential issue or problem, the user (or another source) can provide a version of the image frame corresponding to the issue, which enables the watermark to be located and the data extracted. A checksum or other value can be used to ensure that a complete and valid watermark was obtained. The data extracted from the watermark can then be used to attempt to identify and/or diagnose the potential issue without having to have access to the client device or communication with the user.

摘要： A method and a system secure a remote video transmission. A marker digitally encoded in bits is generated for an image. The encoded marker contains an identifier of the camera and a time variable. The encoded marker is inserted into the image. The insertion is carried out by adding, for each bit of the encoded marker, a pattern to the image in the spatial domain. The conversion of the pattern into the spectral domain is a predefined sub matrix of which a frequency coefficient encodes the bit of the marker. The encoded marker is extracted from the secure image. The time variable is verified by comparing with the time reference and the identifier of the camera to check the temporal freshness of the secure image and the origin of same. A failure is flagged if one of the items of information included in the encoded marker violates a security criterion.

摘要： Watermark data is converted to watermark coefficients, which may be embedded in an image by converting the image to a frequency domain, embedding the watermark in image coefficients corresponding to medium-frequency components, and converting the modified coefficients to the spatial domain. The watermark data is extracted from the modified image by converting the modified image to a frequency domain, extracting the watermark coefficients from the image coefficients, and determining the watermark data from the watermark coefficients. The watermark data may be truncated image data bits such as truncated least significant data bits. After extraction from the watermark, the truncated image data bits may be combined with data bits representing the original image to increase the bit depth of the image. Watermark data may include audio data portions corresponding to a video frame, reference frames temporally proximate to a video frame, high-frequency content, sensor calibration information, or other image data.
