    • A power supply apparatus includes a current modulation unit, a voltage converting unit, a current detector, and a control unit. The current modulation unit is used for receiving an input voltage and a control signal, generating an output current and adjusting the value of the output current according to the control signal. The voltage converting unit, coupled to the current modulation unit, converts the output current into the output voltage. The current detector, coupled to the voltage converting unit and the output terminal, detects the current flowing through the load and outputs a current detection result. The control unit, coupled to the current modulation unit, the current detector and the output terminal, receives the current detection result and the output voltage, and generates the control signal according to the current detection result and the output voltage.

    • A frequency synthesizer for providing clock signals with different frequencies for corresponding band transceivers and associated frequency synthesizing method are provided. The frequency synthesizer includes a phase-locked loop module having a single voltage controlled oscillator, a first frequency divider and a second frequency divider. At first, the single voltage controlled oscillator is activated to generate a primary clock signal. The first frequency divider frequency-divides the primary clock signal to generate a first clock signal for a first band transceiver. The first clock signal is further frequency-divided into a second clock signal for a second band transceiver. Therefore, the frequency synthesizer with the single voltage controlled oscillator can generate clock signals covering more than one frequency band.

    • An apparatus and method for audio conversion is provided to upgrade the resolution of transmission frequency of an FM (frequency modulation) transmitter and reduce the size of the FM transmitter by applying frequency coarse tune and fine tune. The apparatus comprises a digital FM modulator, a digital frequency synthesizer, a signal converter, and an analog frequency converter. The digital FM modulator modulates a digital audio input signal into a first digital audio signal. The digital frequency synthesizer converts the first digital audio signal into a second digital audio signal, whose frequency is determined according to a first frequency conversion parameter. The signal converter converts the second digital audio signal into an analog audio signal. The analog frequency converter generates an audio transmission signal with a predetermined frequency according to a second clock signal and the analog audio signal while the second clock signal is generated according to a first clock signal.

    • A hybrid Global Positioning System (GPS) receiving method, and associated GPS receiving apparatus is provided. The GPS receiving apparatus includes an RF front-end circuit, a correlation circuit, an acquisition engine and a bidirectional interface control unit. The RF front-end receiving circuit receives a satellite signal and converts the same into a baseband signal. The acquisition engine, coupled to the correlation circuit, determines reception power of the GPS satellite signal. The interface control unit, coupled to the acquisition engine, provides a low-speed interface for transmitting GPS intermediate data that includes a code bin, a frequency bin, navigation data, a local system time and a GPS time. The interface control unit includes a memory interface unit for coupling to a memory.
