    • An ice making system for a refrigerator is provided. The ice making system includes an ice maker body, an ejector rotatably coupled to the ice maker body that drops ice pieces made by the ice maker body, an ice bank drawably disposed below the ice maker body that stores the ice pieces dropped by the ejector, an ice sensing lever that senses an amount of the ice pieces stored in the ice bank, a lever holding device that elastically supports and couples the ice sensing lever, and a driving force transmitting device that transmits a rotation force received from the ejector to the lever holding device, thereby rotating the lever holding device. The ice sensing lever may move within a predetermined range when an external force is applied to the ice sensing lever.

    • A lamp driving device includes a switch circuit for supplying a signal; a transformer which boosts a voltage of the signal from the switch circuit and supplies the boosted voltage to at least one lamp; a safety circuit which compares a threshold value with at least one of the boosted voltage and a current through the lamp, and intercepts at least one of the boosted voltage and the current through the lamp in accordance with the comparison result; and a warming part for warming the lamp in an early stage with a voltage less than or equal to the threshold value.

    • A ring oscillator setting apparatus and method depending on an environmental change of an image formation apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a plurality of ring oscillators for generating different oscillation frequencies. The apparatus further includes a loopspeed detection unit to detect a loopspeed representing the number of pulses generated at the oscillation frequency by one of the ring oscillators selected from the plurality of ring oscillators for a predetermined unit time. Moreover, a state sensing unit is provided to detect a state of system environment of the image formation apparatus. A setting control unit is also provided to select and set one of the ring oscillators selected corresponding to change of the loopspeed detected from the loopspeed detection unit among the plurality of ring oscillators in response to the detected state of the state sensing unit. Therefore, even when external environment changes such as temperature and voltage of the image formation apparatus change, the one of the ring oscillators selected having the optimal loopspeed to generate a video clock can be set. Therefore, it is possible to minimize degradation of image quality caused by environmental changes.
