    • A wireless communication system for performing a handover to a femto base station is provided. The system includes user equipment, a femto subscriber information storage, a core network entity or a macro base station or a serving base station. The femto subscriber information storage stores a list of femto base stations that allows the access of user equipment, i.e., an accessible list. The core network entity or the macro base station receives and stores the accessible list. When any of the user equipment requests a handover toward a femto base station as a target base station, and the target base station is included in the accessible list stored, the core network entity or the macro base station requests a handover toward the target base station. A method for performing a handover to the core network entity and the macro base station is also provided.

    • A communication system and data transmission method thereof are provided. The method includes adding an end marker to the end of source data and transmitting the source data and the end marker for a Packet data network GateWay (PGW) to a source evolved Node B (eNB) if a handover is carried out from the source eNB to a target eNB while the PGW is transmitting the source data to the source eNB, forwarding the source data and the end marker from the source eNB to the target eNB, transmitting target data immediately following the source data from the PGW to the target eNB, and transmitting the source data and the target data, which is classified into the source data by the end marker and immediately follows the end of the source data, from the target eNB to user equipment.

    • A mobile communication system supporting an MBMS service includes a Node B having a plurality of transport channels and at least one UE communicating with the Node B. The Node B selects a transport channel for MBMS control information among a plurality of transport channels mapped to a secondary common control physical channel; transmits a system information block indicating the selected transport channel to a cell area where UEs are located, using a primary common control physical channel; and transmits the MBMS control information to the cell area using the selected transport channel. The UE receives a system information block indicating a transport channel selected to transmit MBMS control information among a plurality of transport channels mapped to a secondary common control physical channel, over a primary common control physical channel; receives the MBMS control information over the selected transport channel among the plurality of the transport channels, using the system information block; and receives the MBMS service using the MBMS control information.
