    • A sun gear member, planetary gear members, a first ring gear member, and a second ring gear member together form a paradox gear mechanism. A clutch mechanism is disposed between an input gear member and the first ring gear member. The clutch mechanism rotates the first ring gear member, when the input gear member rotates. The clutch mechanism disconnects transmission of the power to the input gear member when the first ring gear member rotates. The sun gear member and the first ring gear member are individual input elements. When one of the sun gear member and the first ring gear member exclusively rotates, the second ring gear member rotates in accordance with the rotation. The sun gear transmits power more reliably without increasing manufacturing cost and without thwarting downsizing of the product.

    • A wireless communication apparatus can communicate with a wireless communication base station using component carriers of communication cells managed by the wireless communication base station simultaneously. A radio condition determining section includes a physical layer problem determining section that determines whether a physical layer problem occurs in each component carrier which is used or can be used in communication between the wireless communication apparatus and the wireless communication base station. When it is determined that the physical layer problem occurs in some of the component carriers used in the communication, the radio condition determining section notifies the component carrier in which the physical layer problem occurs to a report creating section. The report creating section creates a report corresponding to the component carrier in which the physical layer problem occurs and a predetermined criterion.

    • A technology is disclosed that provides a handover preprocessing system and the like, the handover preprocessing system capable of eliminating waste of resources used as a result of notification being reissued of a CSG cell for which access is not granted. According to the technology, the handover preprocessing system is configured by: a base station 100 that is an object for connection of a mobile terminal 300, provides a plurality of cells indicating a range accessible by the mobile terminal, and transmits, to the mobile terminal, notification information including frequency information of each cell; the mobile terminal that verifies access permission for the cells based on the notification information received from the base station and, when access permission is not granted, generates a first message including frequency information corresponding to the cell for which access permission is not granted and transmits the first message to a connecting base station 200 to which the mobile terminal itself is currently connected; and the connecting base station that transmits, to the mobile terminal, a second message including a command giving an instruction to select a frequency other than a frequency specified by the frequency information included in the first message, based on the first message received from the mobile terminal.
