    • The present invention relates to a spring cartridge for a ski binding, wherein the ski binding has a rotatable front binding part for attachment of a ski boot, and is in particular a telemark ski binding. In the binding the spring cartridge provides tension to a biasing cable which biases the rotatable front binding part, so as to rotate the front binding part so that an attached ski boot would be brought into contact with the ski to which the ski binding is attached.The spring cartridge comprises an extended hollow housing open at both ends, a compression spring held within the extended hollow housing and a pressure stub held partly within the compression spring.The pressure stub is structured with an extended portion having a cross dimension smaller than the interior size of the compression spring and a head having a larger size than the interior size of the compression spring. The extended portion extends within the internal hollow of the compression spring and is also hollow and provided with an internal screw thread in the hollow section for threadable engagement with an external screw thread at the end of a biasing cable of a ski binding, the biasing cable being threadable through the centre of the compression spring to the pressure stub.With rotation of the pressure stub this would thus lead to a change in the amount of the biasing cable held within the hollow section, when present, and thus change the amount of compressive force acting on the compression spring.

    • A control system for controlling an exhaust gas recirculation system having a control valve is provided. The control system includes at least one flow sensor sensing a flow rate of at least one of a recirculating exhaust gas, an inlet air and a combined result thereof, and generating a sensor signal indicative of the sensed flow rate. A processor in communication with the at least one flow sensor receives the sensor signal indicative of the sensed flow rate and generates a control signal based at least in part upon the received sensor signal. The control valve of the exhaust gas recirculation system is adapted to be in communication with the processor and to receive the control signal therefrom, and is adapted to actuate based at least in part upon the control signal.

    • A system for venting crankcase emissions from an engine is disclosed generally comprising a crankcase emissions conduit that communicates blow-by gases from the crankcase into the exhaust flow of an exhaust conduit, which includes a venturi, via an inlet located upstream of the minimum inner diameter of the venturi in order to pump the crankcase emissions therethrough. In certain embodiments, the gases are then directed to a filter assembly, which may include a particulate filter and may include a catalyst for facilitating redox of harmful substances to create harmless compounds prior to venting them or recirculating them in the system. In certain advantageous embodiments, an auxiliary oxygen supply is provided to facilitate these burning processes.

    • An arrangement for mixing a first and a second gas flow, for example, an inlet flow with an exhaust gas return flow in a diesel engine. An air conduit has an inlet for the first flow and an inlet for the second flow, in order to achieve the mixing. A valve body is arranged to be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the air conduit at the inlet for the second flow in order to achieve a variable venturi effect and in this way a variable suction effect and mixture of the mixed flow. One or more fuel injectors inject fuel into the air conduit to pre-mix fuel with the first and second gas flows before reaching the engine cylinders for combustion.
