    • A color filter includes a substrate and a plurality of pixel units. The substrate defines a plurality of pixel areas. Each pixel area has a plurality of first sub-pixel areas, and each first sub-pixel area has a first area and a second area. The pixel units are formed on the substrate corresponding to the pixel areas. Each pixel unit is disposed in a corresponding pixel area and includes a plurality of color subtractive filter films and a plurality of color additive filter films. The color subtractive filter films are disposed in the first areas of the first sub-pixel areas of the corresponding pixel area, and the color additive filter films are disposed in the second areas of the first sub-pixel areas of the corresponding pixel area. A color display device with the color filter is also disclosed.

    • A display device includes an array substrate, a display medium layer, a transparent layer and a sealant. The array substrate has a first region and a second region surrounding the first region. The display medium layer is disposed on the array substrate and located in the first region. The transparent layer with an upper surface is disposed on the display medium layer. The upper surface has a display region and a predetermined sealing region surrounding the display region. The sealant is formed on the array substrate and located in the second region. Also, the sealant surrounds the transparent layer and the display medium layer and covers the predetermined sealing region of the transparent layer. In addition, a method for fabricating the display device is also provided. Since the sealant surrounds the transparent layer and the display medium layer and covers the predetermined sealing region of the transparent layer, the packaging performance of the above display device may be improved.

    • A color filter substrate includes a transparent substrate, a color photoresist layer and an air guiding layer. The color photoresist layer is disposed on the transparent substrate. The air guiding layer is disposed on the substrate and surrounds the color photoresist layer. The air guiding layer includes a plurality of strip-shaped patterns disposed apart from each other. One end of each of the strip-shaped patterns is connected to the color photoresist layer, and the other end of each of the strip-shaped patterns extends toward a direction far away from the color photoresist layer. An air guiding groove is formed between each two adjacent strip-shaped patterns. A color display apparatus having the color filter substrate is also provided. The color filter substrate can be assembled to the display layer without producing air bubbles, and thereby improves display quality of the color display apparatus.

    • A color filter substrate includes a transparent substrate, a number of color photoresists disposed on the transparent substrate and a high-reflecting region disposed on the transparent substrate. The high-reflecting region at least includes a first region for separating the color photoresists. The high-reflecting region either is filled with a reflecting material or is empty. A display device is also provided. The display device includes a lower substrate, a driving circuit layer disposed on the lower substrate, a display layer disposed on the driving circuit layer and the above-mentioned color filter substrate disposed on the display layer. The color filter substrate can be assembled to the display device to increase the total light intensity of light reflection, thereby improving the display quality of the display device.

    • A method for manufacturing flexible color filter substrate includes the following steps. First, a rigid substrate is provided. The rigid substrate has an upper surface and a lower surface opposite to the upper surface. The upper surface includes a first region and a second region located at a periphery of the first region. Next, a release layer is formed on the first region. Next, a flexible substrate layer is formed to cover the second region and the release layer. Next, a color photoresist layer is formed on a portion of the flexible substrate layer above the release layer. Next, the rigid substrate and the flexible substrate layer are cut along a border between the first region and the second region. Next, the flexible substrate layer is separated with the release layer. The method for manufacturing flexible color filter substrate can improve optical performance of the flexible color filter substrate.
