    • Provided is an image editing device that enables a user to easily assign images to a plurality of pages constituting an album or the like so as to satisfy editorial restrictions. In the image editing device: image data acquisition means (42) acquires a plurality of pieces of image data; page assignment means (43) determines, based on respective photographed times of the plurality of pieces of image data and a reference time interval, details of an assignment of the plurality of pieces of image data to each of the plurality of pages so that an interval between photographed times of pieces of image data to be assigned to the each of the plurality of pages is the reference time interval or smaller; and page image output means (44) outputs image output data on the each of the plurality of pages based on a result of the assignment. The page assignment means (43) changes the reference time interval, to thereby determine the assignment that satisfies at least a part of a condition for a number of pages of the plurality of pages and a condition for a maximum number of pieces of image data to be assigned to the each of the plurality of pages.

    • The multiprocessor system includes multiple cells having identical functions, and each of the multiple cells has a processor, a cache memory, and a main memory. The multiple cells include the first cell as a request cell, the second cell as a home cell, and the third cell as an owner cell. The latest version of the target data stored in the main memory of the second cell is stored in the cache memory of the third cell. When the first cell issues a read request for the target data to the second cell, the second cell issues a snoop request to the third cell in response to the read request. The third cell directly transmits the target data to the first cell in response to the snoop request. Also, the third cell issues the reply write back to the second cell in response to the snoop request. The first cell issues a request write back to the same address as that of the target data in the second cell. The second cell discards the reply write back when the reply write back from the third cell is received later than the request write back from the first cell.

    • An arteriosclerosis diagnostic device according to various embodiments is a simple device, resistant to an external factor, such as an error resulting from a skin surface, and capable of measuring the degree of hardness of an artery. The arteriosclerosis diagnostic device detects a heart sound and a pulse wave at least one location of a living body, the pulse wave propagating through an artery in relation to the heart sound, converts detected signals thereof into respective frequency signals, specifies the peak frequency of each of the frequency signals, and determines the degree of arteriosclerosis on the basis of the difference between the peak frequency of the heart sound and the peak frequency of the pulse wave. Accordingly, the degree of arteriosclerosis can be determined by comparison between the frequency signals.

A peer-to-peer server enters a closed user group (CUG) and issues a password necessary for login to the CUG. It is possible to share an image between client terminals having the same password through peer-to-peer connection. It is possible to directly transmit the shared image to an order-accepting server of the nearest lab store through peer-to-peer connection and print the image. Moreover, when a user designates an image-processing condition on a client terminal, the information on the condition is sent to and managed by a client-managing server. The lab that receives a print order extracts the favorite information of the client concerned from the client-managing server and provides a print having the desired finish quality.
