摘要： An improved electric power metering device that can be installed directly to and in line with the distribution line owned by a utility company or energy provider, whether for overhead or underground distribution lines. The improved electric power metering device according to the present invention thus solves many of the issues presented by prior art electricity meters that are installed in or on an individual consumer's premises, such as liability distribution and the potential for injury to the consumer or damage to the metering device based on the proximity of the metering device to the property of the consumer. The improved electric power metering device of the present invention may also be advantageously applied to the electricity distribution grid at various points that prior art meters may not be convenient or possible to install, such that service metering or RSS can be enacted at strategic points in the grid.

Mobile devices in a group may share computed location information and/or information collected from internal sensors with other grouped mobile devices. Information shared between grouped mobile devices may be used to enhance the location information computed on each mobile device. For example, each mobile device may supplement and/or augment previously computed location information based on the received location information and/or relative positions of other mobile devices in the same group. Each mobile device may also utilize local sensors to further enhance their location information.

摘要： Embodiments of systems and methods are presented to provide local citizenry with the ability to initiate emergency calls on their mobile device through a deployable cellular communication resource, such as a switch on wheels. The mobile device may be provisioned with a primary preferred roaming list (PRL) and a secondary PRL. The secondary PRL is accessed only when a switch-to-secondary-PRL flag is set in the primary PRL. Upon detection of the switch-to-secondary-PRL flag, the mobile device may enter an emergency call mode which only allows the mobile device to initiate an emergency call. If no network listed in the primary PRL and no emergency network listed in the secondary PRL is available, the mobile device may pause for a predetermined time before repeating attempts to access a network in order to conserver battery power until cellular communication networks are repaired or temporary networks implemented.

摘要： Provided is a bore hole underreamer, intended in particular for oil drilling. The underreamer has a hollow body and at least two cylindrical bores. The bores are distributed over the circumference of the hollow body and each bore contains a cylindrical widening arm. Each arm has a bladed cutting end disposed on the outside of the body that slides between active and inactive positions. Another end of each arm is disposed inside the body and receives fluid pressure for pushing the arm into the active position. The underreamer includes a locking member for locking the arms in their inactive position when the locking member is immobilized in the body in a releasable fashion in a locking position. When released, the locking member leaves the locking position under a thrust from at least one of the arms subjected to the pressure capable of pushing the arm into its active position.

Public safety networks may be enabled to make spectrum resources available to general public by allocating spectrum resources and monitoring the use of those resources. During an emergency, when traffic increases on a public safety network, the public safety networks may off-load bandwidth traffic to make available necessary resources for public safety users.

Access to cellular communication network resources is provided by dedicating a portion of communication channels to emergency response personnel use. A fixed wireless device (e.g., fixed infrastructure device) may be configured to determine its current location based on location information received from one or more other devices. For example, the fixed wireless device may determine its current three-dimensional location based on latitude coordinate values, longitude coordinate values, and altitude coordinate values received from a plurality of the devices that are in proximity to the fixed wireless device. The fixed wireless device may then dynamically determine whether the fixed wireless device should be included in a telecommunication resource lease based on its determined current location. The fixed wireless device may allocate its available radio frequency resources use by devices that subscribe to a different network in response to determining that it should be included in the telecommunication resource lease.
