摘要： An apparatus for image acquisition of topological features of the surface of skin. The apparatus comprises a waveguide, having an entrance edge and top and bottom surfaces; a light source, configured to direct a light beam at the entrance edge of the waveguide; a skin contact layer, disposed at or near the top surface of the waveguides; a holographic optical element (HOE), disposed at the top or at the bottom surfaces of the waveguide, configured to diffract the light beam incident from the light source to the skin contact layer; a sensor array, configured to detect light reflected from the surface of skin in contact with skin contact layer; and means for compensating for changes in the Bragg matching condition of the HOE due to temperature.

In use, the security device includes an activation mixture, such as an expandable adhesive, that transitions the security device between a first state and a second state in response to an application of certain non-mechanical stimuli, such electromagnetic energy of a particular profile, the security device restricting the passage of the product through the draw tube when disposed in the first state and permitting the passage of the product through the draw tube when disposed in the second state.

摘要： A flying head mechanism includes a flying head, a suspension and an actuator which applies a load force through the suspension. The load force applied by the actuator is adjustable while the head is in operation. The actuator may actively control load force as part of a feedback loop which maintains the flying head at a constant flying height. One embodiment disclosed includes a voice coil actuator. In embodiments using an optical flying head, a conventional focus sensor may provide a signal indicative of flying height, since the focus signal inherently indicates flying height error.
