摘要： An electrical connector and a manufacturing method thereof includes a housing made of plastic material and at least one terminal module fixed in the housing. The housing defines a mating portion extending along a front-to-rear direction and the mating portion defines at least one mating surface in a vertical direction. The terminal module includes a plurality of conductive terminals with contacting portions and an insulating block, the housing is injection molded with the terminal module to form the mating portion so that the contacting portions of the conductive terminals are exposed on the mating surface. It is simple to manufacture and conducive to reduce the manufacturing cost.

摘要： An electric connector assembly includes a plug connector and a mating socket connector, and the plug connector includes a base, a tongue plate protruding forwardly from the base and a plurality of electrical contacts. The tongue plate defines two relative surfaces and the tongue plate includes a terminal holder and a side portion beside the terminal holder in a transverse direction. The side portions define at least a pair of clamping portions recessed from the surface of the tongue plate, and the socket connector defines at least a pair of elastic arms for engaging with said clamping portions for enhancing the stability when the electric connector inserted into a mating connector.

摘要： An electrical connector includes an insultive housing and a terminal module retained in the insultive housing. The insultive housing defines an upper sidewall, a lower sidewall opposite to the upper sidewall and a pair of end walls connected with the upper and lower sidewalls, which together form a receiving cavity, each end wall defines a recess communicating with the receiving cavity. The terminal module defines a first module, a second module and a shielding member located between the first module and the second module. The shielding member is an integrated structure and defines a shielding portion, a plurality of elastic contacting arms projecting forwardly from the shielding portion and extending laterally, and a pair of locking portions bending into the corresponding recesses from the opposite sides of the shielding portion, the elastic contacting arms and the locking portions are exposed into the receiving cavity of the insulative housing.

Each terminal module includes a plurality of terminals and an insulative housing inserted molding with the terminals. A pair of concave portions forms on opposite sides of the tongue plate, the two terminal modules are received in said concave portions respectively. An insulative shell is injection molded over outer sides of the terminal modules and commonly forms a mating plate, the terminals define a contacting portion exposed to two opposite surfaces of the mating plate. Said electrical connector can increase the binding force of the terminal modules and the base plate.

摘要： An electrical connector has a conductive shell, a terminal module and a shielding plate. The conductive shell has a mating portion and an accommodate room. The mating portion has a first mating face. The terminal module is secured in the accommodate room and has a first insulator and a plurality of first terminals. The first insulator has a first face and a second face. Each of the first terminals has a first contacting portion protruding out of the first face of the first insulator. The shielding plate is disposed in the accommodate room and contacts with the conductive shell. The shielding plate presses on the second face of the first insulator so as to make first contacting portions be exposed to the first mating face. The disposition of the shielding plate has the function of pressing on the terminal module and preventing the interference of signal transmission between the terminals.
