    • A data processing arrangement (BBP) comprises a system-host processor (SHP) and a system-guest processor (SGPl). The system-host processor (SHP) is provided with an operating system (OS) and an operating-system-message transceiver (SI) for receiving an operating-system-related message corresponding with a service request and for sending an operating-system-related message corresponding with a service response. The system-guest processor (SGPl) is provided with an operating-system simulator (SOI). The operating-system simulator (SOI) sends an operating-system-related message to the system-host processor (SHP) in response to a service request from a task (A, B) that the system-guest processor carries (SGP) out. The operating-system simulator (SOI) provides a service response to the task (A, H) in response to an operating-system-related message from the system-host processor (SHP).

    • A transplanting tool for the manual extraction and planting of seedlings. The transplanting tool comprises, a digging tube, a hollow plunger slidably contained within said digging tube, a stem and a transverse piece forming a handle, and a pair of foot bars extending from the outside surface of said digging tube, at substantially opposite direction from one another. The arrangement of the components therefrom, offers a clear line of sight at the center of the hollow plunger for placing the digging tube over a seedling without damaging the plant's foliage. The angle of the foot bars is adapted to prevent strain on the user's leg, thereby facilitating altering between digging and walking motion. The transplanting tool is therefore especially suitable for extracting seedlings from rough terrains.

    • A method and device which, in a receiver forming part of a data transmission system using DSB-QC modulation and wherein the transmitter generates a first sequence of successive carrier phase changes of 180.degree. taking place at the signaling rate 1/T followed by a second sequence of pseudo-random carrier phase changes of 0.degree. and 180.degree., with the first of these being a 0.degree. phase change, permit detecting the beginning of said second sequence. According to another aspect of the invention, the beginning of said second sequence is determined by detecting the instant at which the amplitude of the in-phase component, sampled at the signaling rate, of signal S decreases significantly.

    • The automatic bag opening and slitting machine has a spike star wheels assembly comprising either of one or a combination of star wheels or cylindroid drum like object. The star wheels assembly is provided with spikes which convey a bag, impaled on the spikes when in an extended position, and extends beneath rotary cutting disks driven by two independent pneumatic or electric motors, that may make a continuous cut around three sides of the bag, so that after cutting thereof, the bag comprises two halves joined only at the rear or trailing side of the bag. These two bag halves are unfolded as one half of the bag engaged by the spikes is drawn around the upstream end of the star wheels assembly, while the other half slides over the rocker arm/bag separation bar/slide guide bar, thus emptying the powder/granular content of the bag into a hopper and releasing the emptied bag by retraction of the spikes from the bag for collection therebelow into a chute, for disposal into an endless screw which extrudes the bag into a compaction tube. The compacted bags are thereafter pushed into a waste plastic bag for refuse disposal.
