    • The invention is directed to systems, methods and computer program products for adjusting audio properties after recording an audio. An exemplary method includes recording audio using an audio capturing system, wherein the recorded audio is associated with an audio level; determining one or more audio signal properties associated with the recorded audio; comparing the audio level with a first predetermined threshold level; and in response to determining the audio level is greater than a first predetermined threshold level, adjusting the recorded audio based at least partially on modifying the one or more determined audio signal properties, wherein the adjusting step is performed a finite time interval following the recording step.

    • A sound reproducing device has a loudspeaker arranged to produce sound from an audio signal provided by an audio signal source. A microphone is positioned to pick up ambient noise and generate a microphone signal which comprises the noise. An ambient noise cancellation (ANC) system receives the microphone signal from the microphone and generates anti-noise corresponding to the ambient noise in the microphone signal. An automatic polarity adaptation (AAP) system monitors the ANC system and, when a decision criterion is fulfilled, causes a switch in polarity for the generated anti-noise.

    • An object of the present invention is to improve the functionality of a noise reducer adapted to perform an active noise reduction process.The object is achieved by a noise reducer 300 comprising at least one microphone 310 connected to a noise controller 320, and at least one loudspeaker 330 connected to the noise controller 320. The microphone 310 is arranged at the loudspeaker 330, and the noise controller 320 is adapted to perform an active noise reduction process. An event detector 340 is connected to the noise controller 320 and adapted to send an event 10 detection signal to the noise controller 320, wherein the event detection signal comprises information regarding an external event. The noise controller 320 is further adapted to analyse the event detection signal and to adapted to control the active noise reduction process in dependence of an outcome of the analysis of the event detection signal.

    • The present invention provides adapting an audio frequency range to a linear vibrator. This may be achieved by detecting presence of signal components in a first audio frequency range. A control signal may then be provided in response to the detected first signal components. A second signal component in a second frequency range may moreover be obtained and controlled in response to the amplitude of the control signal, wherein the second frequency range is narrower than the first audio frequency range. Feeding of the controlled second signal component to the linear vibrator causing vibrations of the linear vibrator is thus enabled, creating an increased experience of the music when applied to rhythm-based music within a portable communication device such as a mobile phone.
