    • A document decryption/encryption method is incorporated with local server software for dynamically decrypting a document when the document is read. The method packages the document by encrypting the document with encryption software, attaches a local server software with the encrypted document so as to generate a corresponding package file having the local server program and the encrypted document together, and executes the package file by a local host. A local server program is provided by executing the local server software and loading the server program into the system memory of the local host, and the document is dynamically decrypted by the local server program when the document is read by a reading device associated with the local server program so as to open the document.

    • An across-file-system file access system and method for accessing files across different computer operating systems and file systems is disclosed. The across-file-system file access system includes a file resource table generator and a file resource table reader. The file resource table generator creates and up-dates a file resource table, which associates file markers for files stored in a given partition with the physical addresses of the files within the given partition. The file resource table generator is run on top of a first operating system, and the given partition is managed by a file system that uses a file system table. The file resource table reader run on top of a second computer operating system, which cannot access the file system table of the file system. The file resource table reader reads the file resource table to provide access to the files listed in the file resource table.

    • Systems and methods for incorporating restricted access to feature vectors are described. A method is described for storing and accessing feature vectors relating to individuals in digital images. One or more individuals are identified within photos, and feature vectors are generated for individuals in one or more photos. User profiles are downloaded from a database over a network. The feature vectors and downloaded user profiles are grouped. The face tagging system collects tags for the generated grouped feature vectors for generating enhanced user profiles for the individuals, and the enhanced user profiles are stored in a storage resource.
