摘要： In a method for utilizing beamforming in a wireless communication system, reference signals corresponding to a first communication channel from a first communication device to a second communication device are received, and an estimate of the first communication channel is generated using the received reference signals. One or more transmit beamforming vectors are calculated using the estimate of the first communication channel, and the one or more transmit beamforming vectors are utilized to transmit signals via a second communication channel from the second communication device to the first communication device while the first communication device assumes that the first second communication device is not utilizing beamforming.
