    • In an image pickup device of the present invention, at a time of an image capture, electric power is supplied by a voltage boosting section in a light emitting section to allow a speaker to be illuminated by an illuminating section. In a switch operation section and control section, control is made such that, if only a predetermined operation switch is operated, power is supplied to the voltage boosting section to start a voltage boosting operation. An image signal of the speaker picked up by the image pickup section of an image pickup device is converted to a digital signal and, after being encoded by an encoding section, is stored in a predetermined area of a storage section in a form related to a voice signal of the speaker.

Every time one set of parameters are output from the parameter switching circuit, a single operation circuit performs a fuzzy rule operation with respect to the input signal stored in the latch circuit by using a membership function defined by the parameters, and outputs a degree to which the input signal meets the rule. An operation result storage circuit stores the output from the operation circuit at a storage position designated by the output parameters. A center-of-gravity calculator obtains the center of gravity of values stored in the operation result storage circuit when all the fuzzy operations based on the plurality of sets of parameters are completed.

The FPC board take-up mechanism feeds or winds the FPC board according to advancement or withdrawal of the lens holding frame. Using this apparatus, a space within a lens barrel to be occupied by the FPC board for electrically connecting the main unit with the lens holding frame can be minimized. Furthermore, the present invention can be implemented in an imaging apparatus in which a lens holding frame makes a long stroke.

    • A data processing apparatus is capable of performing at least one of recording operation and playback operation of at least one of image data and audio data. The data processing apparatus includes a storage section for storing identifiers for identification of predetermined operators and fingerprint data of the operators. The identifiers and the fingerprint data are associated with each other.
