摘要： The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for estimating a state of a battery, and more particularly, an apparatus for estimating a state of a battery includes: a first SOC estimating unit estimating a first state of charging (SOC) of the battery based on open circuit voltage and a temperature of the battery; a first SOH estimating unit estimating a first state of health of the battery based on the first SOC and the current of the battery; and a second SOC estimating unit estimating a second SOC of the battery based on the first SOH, charging/discharging voltage, the temperature, and the current of the battery or estimating the second SOC of the battery based on the charging/discharging voltage, the temperature, and the current of the battery.

摘要： Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for sensing opening of a current interrupt device (CID) of a battery unit. An apparatus for sensing opening of a current interrupt device of a battery unit according to the present invention is configured to include: a setting unit setting a predetermined voltage section when discharge of one or more battery units starts; a measuring unit measuring a voltage section pass time which is the time when the one or more battery units pass through the predetermined voltage section for each battery unit; and a detecting unit detecting a battery unit in which the current interrupt device (CID) is opened among the one or more battery units and detecting the number of battery cells in which the CID is opened among one or more battery cells included in the battery unit in which the CID is opened based on the voltage section pass time for each battery unit.

摘要： Disclosed are a method of allocating unique identifiers to slave battery managers for managing battery modules by a master battery manager and a battery management system using the same, and the method includes making a request for allocation information to the slave battery managers; receiving the allocation information from the slave battery managers; and allocating the unique identifiers to the slave battery managers based on the allocation information, wherein the allocation information contains an MAC address of a device performing a calibration between the slave battery manager and the battery module and time information on a time when the calibration is performed. According to the present invention, it is possible to efficiently control and manage a plurality of battery modules by allocating unique identifiers by using allocation information set to each of the plurality of battery modules.

摘要： A method of balancing rack voltages of a battery pack having a plurality of racks includes (a) a voltage measurement step of measuring voltages of the racks, (b) a sorting step of sorting the racks in ascending powers based on the voltage values of the racks, (c) a comparison step of comparing a difference between a maximum voltage value and a minimum voltage value with a set voltage, (d) a charging/discharging count step of comparing the voltage values of the racks with a reference voltage to increase a charging or discharging count, and (e) a charging/discharging step of charging or discharging the racks according to the charging or discharging count. In a case in which, at step (c), the difference between the maximum voltage value and the minimum voltage value is lower than the set voltage, the racks are charged with the maximum voltage value without steps (d) and (c).
