摘要： A data analyzing method, apparatus, and a method for supporting data analysis includes creating or storing a semantic entity repository, wherein the semantic entity repository includes a structured entity set of entities and properties thereof, reference ranges describing the possible values of the properties, and the mappings between the entities and properties and a data structure of a data warehouse. When aggregating data, the entities, properties, and/or property values to be analyzed are selected from the semantic entity repository, and how to calculate at least one measure is defined. The data corresponding to the selected entities, properties, and property values are loaded from the data warehouse according to the mappings, and the at least one measure as defined is calculated.

摘要： A system and a method for automatically generating new concepts based on existing ontologies are provided. The system creates new concepts in existing ontologies based on new concept descriptions expressed in a natural language format, and comprises: a normalizer for receiving and parsing the new concept descriptions so as to transform them into normalized one and output them, wherein said normalized concept description includes one or more description part(s) having kernel concepts, said description parts can only contain the terms which can be identified in said existing ontologies, and each of said kernel concept contains a headword and zero or more property(s); and a new concept factory for, based on the normalized description of the new concept, identifying the kernel concepts in each normalized concept description part, and extracting the identified kernel concepts, related properties, and the relations among the kernel concepts for a user to create new concepts according to existing ontologies. Therefore, ontologies will be easier to be managed, reused and expanded, while keeping smaller size and less complexity of the ontologies.

Semantic constraints are generated from a semantic model of a component business model meta-model and inconsistency conditions of CBM maps. The semantic model of the CBM meta-model is applied to transform CBM maps into corresponding semantic representations. An inference engine applies the semantic constraints to the semantic representations to determine inconsistencies between one CBM map and another and between a CBM map and the component business model meta-model.
