摘要： A welding machine includes an enclosure and a welding power supply mounted in an electronics compartment within the enclosure. A divider wall at least partially defines an engine compartment. A generator is operatively connected to the power supply. An engine, located within the engine compartment, drives the generator. An engine-cooling fan is coupled to the engine. A recessed side vent is in fluid communication with the electronics compartment and recessed in a lateral side of the enclosure, and a recessed air channel is formed by the lateral side and extends rearward from the side vent along the engine compartment. The engine-cooling fan draws cooling air forward through the recessed side vent and into the electronics compartment, and downward through the electronics compartment and into the engine compartment.

摘要： A vehicle-mounted electric power generation system includes an engine-generator enclosure within which is an internal combustion engine, an electric generator coupled to the engine, and an air compressor driven by at least one of the engine and the generator. The system includes an air compressor system enclosure. At least one of an air compressor lubricating oil separator tank, an air compressor lubricating oil filter, an aftercooler, and a coalescing filter is located within the air compressor system enclosure. A compressed air conduit extends between the engine-generator enclosure and the air compressor system enclosure. The compressed air conduit conveys compressed air and air compressor lubricating oil from the air compressor. An air compressor lubricating oil conduit extends between the engine-generator enclosure and the air compressor system enclosure for supplying the air compressor lubricating oil to the air compressor.

摘要： An electric arc generation device includes an internal combustion engine operatively coupled to a generator, an arc generation power supply powered by the generator, an ECU configured to control a maximum power output level of the engine according to one of a low power routine and a high power routine, and a position signal receiver operatively connected to the ECU. The position signal receiver is configured to receive a position signal, generate current position information based on the position signal, and provide the current position information to the ECU. The ECU is configured to compare the current position information to predetermined region data, and automatically switch from one of the high power routine and the low power routine to a different one of the high power routine and the low power routine based on a result of the comparing, to automatically control the maximum power output level of the engine.

摘要： Embodiments of welding systems are disclosed. In one embodiment, a welding power source includes a welding output connector and a battery output connector. Power electronics of the welding power source provide welding power at the welding output connector or battery power at the battery output connector. A current sensor senses when an electric current is flowing through a cable connected to the welding output connector or the battery output connector and outputs a voltage to the controller of the welding power source that is indicative of the electric current as sensed. The controller of the welding power source includes safety logic that determines when an unsafe condition of the welding power source exists based on at least the voltage from the current sensor.

摘要： Embodiments of welding systems and methods with coordinated dual power outputs supporting a same welding process or a same AC output process are disclosed. One embodiment of a welding system includes an engine and a generator operatively connected to the engine, where the engine is configured to drive the generator to produce electrical input power. The welding system also includes a power supply operatively connected to the generator and having at least one controller. The power supply is configured to convert the electrical input power to form two power outputs that are coordinated with each other, at least in time, via the controller to support a same welding process. The same welding process may be, for example, a hotwire welding process, a tandem metal inert gas (MIG) welding process, or an alternating current (AC) output process.
