摘要： An on-screen signal processing apparatus comprises a first display memory for storing binary image data, a second display memory for storing decoration data (i.e., “attribute data”) for decorating the binary image data stored in the first display memory in a unit of a fixed plurality of pixels, and a first color look-up table for storing data concerning a character color and a background color for decorating the binary image data stored in the first display memory. A first converter reads the binary image data of the first display memory and the decoration data of the second display memory every unit of the fixed plurality of pixels and searches the first color look-up table based on the character color and the background color designated in the decoration data, and further performs color-conversion to the binary image data of the first display memory.

摘要： A television apparatus equipped with speech recognition function which allows the television apparatus to operate in accordance with a unit of language having an operable superordinate concept or makes the television apparatus operate after changing the operation mode, when a unit of language uttered by a user is unacceptable, is provided. The television apparatus according to the present invention judges whether it is possible for said television apparatus to operate in accordance with a speech code which is accepted under the current operation mode, and operates under this operation mode when it is possible to operate. When it is not possible to operate, if there is a speech code having an operable superordinate concept, the television apparatus operates in accordance with the speech code having the operable superordinate concept. If there is not a speech code having an operable superordinate concept, the television apparatus further judges whether it is possible to operate when it changes the operation mode. When it is possible to operate after the operation mode is changed, the television apparatus operates under the post-change operation mode.

摘要： An I2C bus control circuit includes a continuous transmission control section in addition to a transmission control section, a sequence control section, a data line control section, and a clock line control section. The continuous transmission control section has a number-of-continuous transmission bytes register and first to (n−1)th continuous transmission data registers, and supplies an interrupt signal to the controller when continuous transmission is completed or an error is detected. The number of times the controller conducts interrupt processing is thus reduced and the processing time is reduced.

摘要： A communication device includes a sub-rack unit and a plurality of plug-in units. The sub-rack unit includes a back wiring board having first connectors arranged in lines thereon, and a frame plate including vertical ribs and placed on said back wiring board so that the vertical ribs separate the lines of the first connectors. Each of the plug-in units includes: a printed board including top and bottom sides and parallel first and second sides, the printed board having second connectors provided on the first side thereof; a metal case including top and bottom faces, and parallel first and second side faces so as to cover the printed board; and first and second spring members. Each of said plug-in units is mounted in the sub-rack unit with the first and second connectors being connected so that the first and second side faces of the metal case are pressed outward against the vertical ribs of the frame plate by resilient forces of the first and second spring members, respectively.
