摘要： A light-emitting device includes a support body having a quadrangle planar shape, a wiring pattern on the support body, a light-emitting element on the wiring pattern, a recognition target portion on a corner portion of the support body, the recognition target portion including a conductive material, an insulation layer reflecting light emitted from the light-emitting element and covering a periphery of the recognition target portion, and a light-transmissive member including a lens portion covering the light-emitting element and a flange portion on a periphery of the lens portion and covering a portion of the recognition target portion that is covered with the insulation layer. The portion of the recognition target portion covered by the flange portion is arranged in a non-point symmetry around a center of the support body, and a difference in reflectivity between the support body and the insulation layer is larger than between the support body and the recognition target portion.

摘要： A method for manufacturing a light emitting device includes: providing a substrate; placing a light emitting element on a top surface of the substrate; arranging on the top surface of the substrate a translucent frame body that is spaced apart from the light emitting element and that surrounds the light emitting element so that a top surface of the translucent frame body is at a position higher than a top surface of the light emitting element; arranging a wavelength conversion member in a region surrounded by the translucent frame body so as to cover the top surface and a side surface of the light emitting element and to be in contact with an inside surface of the frame body; and forming a translucent member that covers the substrate, the translucent frame body, and the wavelength conversion member.

摘要： A light emitting device includes a base member, a light emitting element, and a sealing member. The substrate includes a wiring portion. The element is arranged on or above the substrate. The sealing member covers the element, and at least a part of the substrate. The sealing member includes a wavelength conversion member. The part of the substrate is divided into first and second sections by a straight line that passes through the center of the part as viewed in plan view. The wiring portion is arranged so that its area on the first section side is larger than on the second section side. The element is arranged so that its area in the second section is larger than the first section. The height of the sealing member on the second section side is greater than on the first section side.
