摘要： Various embodiments provide methods implemented in a mobile communication device (e.g., a multi-RAT communication device) for maintaining at least one separate RGS value for each of a plurality of RATs operating on the mobile communication device. Specifically, a device processor on the mobile communication device (e.g., a crystal oscillator manager) may maintain a separate, up-to-date RGS value for each of the plurality of RATs and may associate each of the plurality of RATs with their respective RGS values. By keeping track of the plurality of RATs' respective RGS values, the device processor may ensure that an appropriate RGS value is used to facilitate each RAT's individual operations, such as acquisition/re-acquisition operations, sleep scheduling calculations, and handover/inter-RAT measurement operations. As a result, various embodiments may improve the performance of each RAT and the overall performance of the mobile communication device.

摘要： Methods, systems and devices for prioritizing communication technologies to allocate resources in a mobile device. The mobile device may employ a dual subscription, dual active (DSDA) configuration in which two subscriptions may be associated with concurrently active communications, such as voice or data calls. The mobile device may identify current states that indicate the type of communications associated with the subscriptions. In an embodiment, an applications processor within the mobile device may perform the state identifications. The mobile device may determine priorities of the concurrently active subscriptions based on the identified states. In an embodiment, the priorities may be determined by a modem processor within the mobile device. When the priorities are determined to be the same, the mobile device may perform a tiebreaker algorithm to further identify priorities. Based on the determined priorities, the mobile device may allocate resources to favor the subscription with the higher priority.

A user equipment (UE) may identify a set of available RF components for communications at the UE that may be shared between a first SIM and a second SIM. The UE may identify multiple resource partitions of the set of available RF components, each resource partition providing resources for contemporaneous communications of both the first SIM and the second SIM. The UE may select one of the resource partitions for the contemporaneous communications based on service level priorities associated with each SIM and which resource partition provides sufficient RF resources to satisfy the QoS parameters associated a highest service level priority of the multiple SIMS.
