    • A service center has a plurality of controlled areas. When the service center provides service information through a radio communication network, the service center first broadcasts toward all the areas with outline items of the information with corresponding key codes attached thereto. Users each receive the outline items of the information with a user's terminal and determine as required whether a detail item of the information should be had immediately (an urgent one) or can be had later (a regular one). The results of the determination are reported to the service center, which immediately provides the urgent detail items of the information for the respective users who made requests for having those detail items. The service center broadcasts regular detail items of the information with attached corresponding key codes other than the requested urgent ones of the information toward the terminals which requested the regular detail items of the information at a predetermined time. Each terminal has stored a key code attached to the outline item of the information which the terminal requested in a regular manner, and receives only a necessary detail item of the information.

    • A portable radio communication terminal is provided comprising: a radio transmitter/receiver for transmitting and receiving signals over a public mobile communications network, a microphone unit and a loudspeaker unit for entering and releasing the communication signals to be transmitted and received by the radio transmitter/receiver, a light emitter for emitting light to indicate details of an action, an operation entering unit, and a controller. When the normal mode is selected with the operation entering unit, the controller turns the microphone unit, the loudspeaker unit, and the light emitter on to start the communication via the radio transmitter/receiver to a predetermined emergency call station. When the static mode is selected with the operation entering unit, the controller turns the loudspeaker unit and the light emitter off while holding the microphone turned on to start the access via the radio transmitter/receiver to the emergency call station. Accordingly, even if the user is under an unfavorable condition for producing an emergency call, it can provide the emergency call station with a data about its difficult condition.

    • An advertisement delivery system of the present invention includes a store terminal, a management device connected to the store terminal via a communication network, and a mobile terminal connected to the management device via the communication network. The store terminal transmits a delivery instruction to the management device in response to an operation giving an instruction to deliver advertisement data. When the delivery instruction transmitted from the store terminal is received, the management device push-delivers the advertisement data of the store that has given the delivery instruction to the mobile terminal. Then, when the advertisement data of the store push-delivered from the management device is received, the mobile terminal judges whether or not the distance from the store to its current position is within a predetermined range, and outputs the advertisement data on a condition that the distance is within the predetermined range.

    • A system for confirming a position of a moving terminal in a radio communication network including a plurality of base stations each corresponding to one of a plurality of individual radio areas. A moving terminal having a specific identification number is provided which includes a receiver for receiving a paging signal including the specific identification number, and a transmitter for wirelessly outputting a response signal in response to the paging signal. A first data base is provided for storing position data representing positions within the plurality of individual radio areas to which a person holding the moving terminal may visit, and base station data representing respective ones of the base stations corresponding to the positions to which the person holding the moving terminal may visit. The position data and the base station data are stored in the first data base in an associated manner with respect to the identification number of the moving terminal. A position retrieving means is provided for identifying base station data corresponding to a given one of the base stations which receives the response signal output by the moving terminal, for retrieving from the first data base corresponding position data associated with the identified base station data, and for outputting the retrieved position data as a candidate for location of the person holding the moving terminal.
