摘要： A pluggable module includes a pluggable body extending between a cable end and a mating end opposite the cable end and a latch held by the pluggable body having an actuation end and a latching end. The actuation end has an actuator extending from the cable end and the latching end has a latching tooth configured to latchably secure the pluggable module to a component. A pull tab device is secured to the actuator. The pull tab device has a handle configured to be pulled away from the pluggable body to release the latch. The pull tab device has a connecting end opposite the handle having a first segment and a second segment. The first segment wraps around the actuator and is secured to the second segment such that the pull tab device is self-secured to the actuator.

摘要： A receptacle connector includes a contact assembly having a dielectric carrier holding contacts, which may be overmolded by the dielectric carrier. The receptacle connector includes a housing holding the contact assembly having a mating end mated with a plug connector and a mounting end mounted to the circuit board. The housing has first and second side walls and first and second end walls. The housing has a card slot open at the top for receiving the plug connector and a contact assembly cavity open at the bottom for receiving the contact assembly. The housing may have positioning ribs extending from the first and second side walls to position the contact assembly within the cavity and/or strengthening ribs extending across the cavity to connect the side walls at a location remote from the end walls.

Walls of the cage are manufactured from a metal material and provide electrical shielding for the pluggable module. A feed-through connector is received in the bezel cage and is positioned at or near a rear end of the cage member. The feed-through connector has a feed-through connector housing holding a contact assembly. The contact assembly has a plurality of feed-through contacts defining a first board mating interface configured to mate with and be electrically connected to a circuit board of the pluggable module and a second board mating interface configured to mate with and be electrically connected to a circuit board of a cable connector. The first and second board mating interfaces are substantially identical.

The gasket plate has a plurality of openings receiving corresponding shrouds. The gasket plate has pluggable module interfaces around each of the openings for interfacing with mating ends of the pluggable modules. The gasket plate is conductive to provide EMI shielding at the pluggable module interfaces.

The EMI gasket includes external spring beams extending from the base. The external spring beams are configured to be received in an opening of a bezel mounted to a front end of the cage member and configured to engage the bezel to electrically connect the EMI gasket to the bezel. The external spring beams extend from base ends at the base to distal ends opposite the base ends. The EMI gasket includes a tie bar at the distal ends connecting the distal ends of the external spring beams together. The tie bar has a flange extending outward therefrom. The flange is configured to stop loading of the bezel onto the front end of the cage member.
