摘要： A face recognition apparatus includes an image sequence acquiring unit, a face image acquiring unit, an intra-sequence classifying unit, an inter-sequence classifying unit, an identification unit, and a reference image storing unit. A plurality of cameras are attached in a corridor for monitoring one place with these cameras, so that when a plurality of moving people pass through, identification is performed for each moving people. Face images are classified into fragmental face image sets, and the fragmental face image sets are classified into integrated sets to achieve the identification.

The receiver receives broadcast waves including signals of a plurality of channels. The registration section registers a recognition target. The determination section determines whether or not the recognition target, registered in the registration section, exists in a frame of an image including the signals of the plurality of channels included in the broadcast waves received by the receiver. The controller sequentially switches, in accordance with a determination result obtained by the determination section, the plurality of channels received by the receiver.

The display unit displays a movie based on a first image frame group. The image capturing unit obtains a second image frame group by capturing an image of a surface on which the movie is displayed. The detection unit detects a position and a direction of the pointing object based on the first image frame group and the second image frame group. The additional display unit displays a specific shape which is superimposed to the first image frame group, so that the detected position of the pointing object is irradiated with light of no less than a predetermined illuminance and the light attenuates according to a distance from the position.
