摘要： Methods and arrangements for discovering entity types for a set of records. A set of records is input, with each record comprising attributes with associated attribute values. The records are grouped into candidate entity types in view of at least one of: the attribute values of the records, at least one domain ontology and at least one dimension hierarchy. An interestingness measure of each candidate entity type is calculated, via estimating interestingness based on at least one factor selected from the group consisting of: a correlation between attribute values of records, a number of attributes, a log of queries issued to a server, and an average group size for candidate entity types. At least one candidate entity type is validated based on the calculated interestingness measures. Other variants and embodiments are broadly contemplated herein.

摘要： Methods for sorting a data set. Data items each having a first portion and a second portion is stored. The first and second portions are stored separately and each has a separate set of keys. The first portion has a pointer indicating the second portion. At least some of the first set of keys for each data item is stored in a local memory of a first processor. At least one data stripe set is defined with one stripe within each bucket. An in-place partial bucket radix sort is performed on data items within one data stripe set with a first processor using an initial key. Incorrectly sorted data items are grouped into respective incorrect data item groups within each bucket. A radix sort is then performed using the initial radix on the incorrect data item groups. A first level sorted output is produced.

摘要： An initial clock gating function is introduced to an original circuit design. Using abstraction-refinement, the initial clock gating function is modified such that the gated circuit design is equivalent to the original circuit design. A model checker, such as a SAT solver, may be utilized to determine equivalency of two circuit designs. A counter-example may be determined by the model checker to negate equivalency. The counter-example may be utilized to modify the initial clock gating function to determine a modified gated circuit design that is equivalent to the original circuit design.

摘要： In a dynamically compiling computer system, a system and method for efficiently transferring control from execution of an instruction in a first representation to a second representation of the instruction is disclosed. The system and method include the setting of a tag for entry points of each instruction in a first representation that has been translated to a second representation. The tag is stored in memory in association with each such instruction. When a given instruction in a first representation is to be executed, the tag is examined, and if it indicates that a translated version of the instruction has previously been generated, control is passed to execution of the instruction in the second representation. The second representation can be a different instruction set representation, or an optimized representation in the same instruction set as the original instruction.

摘要： Under the present invention desired portlet behaviors are embodied as portlet patterns. When a developer wishes to create a new portlet for a portal page, the developer will select a presentation template, select one or more portlet patterns and input values for the selected portlet patterns. Thereafter, the portlet will be encoded by binding the values to the selected patterns according to the presentation template. Once encoded, the portlet will be bound to a portal server catalog corresponding to the portal page. The binding to the portal server catalog allows the portlet to be visible to end users visiting the portal page. Then, if an end user selects the portlet, an instance thereof will be created by an instantiator portlet. Any underlying functions of the portlet can then be carried out by the instantiator portlet.

Browsing behavior can include time spent at a Web page, where the browsed Web page is a page that was previously presented as a search result for the similar query criteria.

First and second pivot arms may be provided at opposite ends of the pivotable coolant manifold(s) to facilitate pivotable movement of the manifold(s) between the first position and the second position.
