    • An active antenna array comprises a plurality of transmission paths, a variable common power supply unit, and an envelope detection system. The transmission paths are adapted to carry a plurality of similar transmission path signals, wherein at least one of the plurality of transmission paths comprises an amplifier having a power input and a signal input for one of the plurality of similar transmission path signals. The variable common power supply unit is connected to the power input of the amplifier for supplying power to the amplifier. The envelope detection system is connected to an envelope input of the variable common power supply unit and adapted to provide a common envelope signal for the plurality of similar transmission path signals to the variable common power supply unit. A method for envelope tracking and computer program products for manufacture and method execution are also claimed.

    • The present invention provides a radio system and a method for relaying radio signals. The radio system comprises at least one transmit path, a digital predistortion unit, a calibration unit and a feedback path. The feedback path is commonly used by the digital predistortion unit and the calibration unit with the present invention. The calibration signal is adapted to update at least one of phase and amplitude changes and the digital predistortion. The present invention further relates to a method for relaying radio signals. The method comprises updating the digital predistortion as well as an updating of the phase and amplitude changes. The updating of the digital predistortion and the updating of the phase and amplitude changes is implemented using a feedback signal. The present invention further relates to a computer program product for the manufacture of the radio system according to the invention. The present invention further relates to a computer program product for the execution of the method according to the present invention.

The interference canceller comprises a transmit chain tap, a receive chain coupler for coupling an interference compensation signal into the receive chain, and an interference signal processing path between the transmit chain tap and the receive chain coupler. The interference signal processing path comprises a filter having filtering characteristics similar or corresponding to the filtering characteristic of a receive portion of said diplexer. A corresponding method for interference cancellation is also proposed. Computer-program products for the manufacture of the interference canceller and the execution of the method are also proposed.

    • A monitor for a transmitter, receiver, or transceiver is proposed. The monitor comprises an input for receiving the at least one varying setting parameter from the parameter controller, and a setting parameter analyzer for evaluating the at least one varying setting parameter to determine whether the at least one component is normally operating within a desired operating range and to issue a warning signal in case the at least one component is abnormally operating within the desired operating range. The varying setting parameter may be, for example, predistortion parameters or tuning parameters of a voltage controlled oscillator. A corresponding method for monitoring a transmitter, receiver or transceiver is also proposed. Furthermore, a computer program product comprising instructions for the manufacture of the monitor and a computer program product that enable a processor to carry out the monitoring method are proposed.

    • An active antenna system and a method for relaying radio signal in the mobile communications network is disclosed. The active antenna system comprises a plurality of antenna elements for relaying radio signals at a first frequency band. The antenna elements are connected to a plurality of signal paths.
