    • A soft headgear is provided. The soft headgear includes a soft outer layer, an inner liner layer formed from an air permeable material, a rigid substructure disposed between the soft outer layer and the inner liner layer, an active ventilation system located at the crown of the soft headgear, and a power supply operably coupled to the active ventilation system. The rigid substructure includes a plurality of ribs extending radial from a crown of the soft headgear to a ring of the rigid substructure, thereby forming air conduction pathways. The active ventilation system exhausts air drawn in through the ring of the rigid substructure and out through the crown of the soft headgear. The power supply provides power for the active ventilation system.

    • Head cooling systems including head cooling devices configured to be worn on a user's head are shown and described. The head cooling devices have a concave body including: a ceiling having a plurality of ceiling pouches and ceiling seams disposed between each of the plurality of ceiling pouches; a curved side wall attached to a perimeter of the ceiling having a plurality of side wall pouches a plurality of ceiling seams disposed between each of the plurality of ceiling pouches; and a freezable material disposed in each of the plurality of ceiling pouches and each of the plurality of side wall pouches. During wear, the ceiling is proximal to an apex of the wearer's head, while the curved side wall is encompasses a forehead, a rear, and sides of the wearer's head. In some examples, the head cooling system further includes an elastic sleeve that is fittable over the concave body and is configured to be in an at least partially stretched state during wear of the head cooling device.

    • The present invention provides an air conditioned headgear and clothing. The headgear includes a thermoelectric cooling module and a control chip. The control chip includes a power supply circuit to supply driving current to the thermoelectric cooling module. The inner temperature of the headgear, the temperature of a heat sink, and the environmental temperature are sensed. A microcontroller of the control chip controls the power supply circuit to provide the driving current to the thermoelectric cooling module via processing the inner temperature of the headgear, a preset temperature, the temperature of the heat sink, and the environmental temperature using the PID control. In the present invention, the temperature is controlled using the PID control, thus wide fluctuations of the temperature is avoided, energy can be used effectively, and thermal cycle can be avoided.
