    • The present invention provides an electronic charging cup assembly, including an electronic charging cup and charging cup holder. The electronic charging cup is provided with an embedded cell module and a button set, so that the cell module supplies sufficient power to the linear conducting strip covering the cup core.     • Methods and devices for frothing milk. The device includes a main body that forms a container for the milk, a cover fitting onto the main body, an agitator for frothing milk and a driver for driving the agitator. The driver is received at least partially in the cover. The driver is provided with a driver electric contact. The main body is provided with an upper main body electric contact and a first recess for receiving at least partially the driver. The first recess and the driver are shaped in such a way that electrical contact between the driver electric contact and the upper main body electric contact automatically is made when the cover is fitted on the main body and the first recess receives at least a part of the driver.

    • A beverage cup and cupholder system made in accordance with the principles of the present invention includes a beverage cup 10 and a cupholder 50. The beverage cup 10 includes a sleeve 13, a liner 19, and a base 20. The base 20 includes an O-ring 22, a plate 23, a heating element 27 and spring terminals 28a, 28b. The heating element preferably exhibits a variable PTC effect. The base further includes a contact ring 25 and a contact disk 29. The cupholder 50 is adapted to mate with the base 20 of the beverage cup 10. Preferably, the cupholder 50 has recessed land areas 57, 58 which lie below a plane of support 53 for the beverage cup 50. The recessed land areas 57, 58 are electrically isolated from each other. The cupholder includes spring contacts 52, 54 which are adapted to receive connections from an external source of electrical current. The spring contacts 52, 54 extend into the recessed land areas 57, 58. The beverage cup 10, when filled with a hot beverage, is placed into the cupholder 50. As the beverage cup 10 is placed into the cupholder 50, the contact disk 29 and contact ring 25 automatically align with the recessed land areas 57, 58 and make contact with the spring contacts 52, 54. The use of a heating element 27 having a PTC effect maintains a beverage at a desirable equilibrium temperature for an extended period of time.

    • A beverage container is disclosed for keeping liquid evenly heated. The beverage container includes a cup, a heating element, and a removable battery power source. The cup has an inner sidewall surface, an outer sidewall surface, an inner bottom surface, and an outer bottom surface. The inner sidewall surface and inner bottom surface are shaped to hold liquid. The heating element is completely enclosed between the inner sidewall surface and the outer sidewall surface. The heating element heats the inner sidewall surface which then heats the liquid. An insulating layer is included between the heating element and the outer sidewall surface to keep the outer sidewall surface cool while the inner sidewall surface is heated. The battery power source is capable of being temporarily secured to the outer bottom surface of the cup and is utilized to keep the heating element energized to a predetermined level while the battery power source is secured to the cup. When the battery power source is removed, the cup is capable of being submerged in water without damaging the cup. When the battery power source is attached, the beverage container is portable.
