摘要： A vascular plug comprises a superstructure expandable from a collapsed percutaneous insertion configuration to an expanded deployment or use configuration. The superstructure incorporates a channel or passageway and a catheter extends through the channel or passageway from a proximal side at least to a distal side of the superstructure. The central channel allows for over-the wire plug delivery and a working aperture for secondary vascular interventions under flow arrest prior to final plug release. The plug includes spring-loaded mechanical elements or clotting-enhancement structure for closing the channel or passageway upon a withdrawal or removal of the catheter from the superstructure.

摘要： A device for occluding a vasculature of a patient including a micrograft having an absorbent polymeric structure with a lumen of transporting blood. The micrograft has a series of peaks and valleys formed by crimping. The occluding device is sufficiently small and flexible to be tracked on a guidewire and/or pushed through a microcatheter to a site within the vasculature of the patient. Delivery systems for delivering the micrografts are also disclosed.

The woven structure may include patterns of radiopaque filaments measurable under x-ray. Structures may be heat treated to include various shapes at different temperatures. The woven structure may be deployable to implant in a vessel. A catheter may include a hypotube including interspersed patterns of longitudinally spaced rows of kerfs and optionally a balloon. Laser cutting systems may include fluid flow systems.

摘要： An apparatus for treating an aneurysm in a blood vessel includes a wire to be advanced within a tube and an occlusion element disposed on the wire. The occlusion element includes a cover and an inner anchoring member. The occlusion element is configured to fit within the tube and slide out of an opening at distal end of the tube in response to movement of the wire. The cover is configured to expand to an expanded configuration when advanced into the aneurysm, wherein the cover comprises a diameter that is greater than the diameter of a neck portion of the aneurysm and is configured such that a first portion of the cover contacts an interior surface of the aneurysm and a second portion covers the neck portion of the aneurysm. The inner anchoring member extends from the cover portion and is configured to contact the interior surface of the aneurysm.

摘要： Devices and methods are described for occluding the left atrial appendage (LAA). The device excludes the LAA from blood flow to prevent blood from clotting within the LAA and subsequently embolizing, particularly in patients with atrial fibrillation. The implantable device is delivered via transcatheter delivery into the LAA and secured within the LAA. The implant comprises an expandable and compliant frame and an expandable and conformable tubular foam body. The device may have a thromboresistant cover at a proximal end. The frame may have recapture struts inclining radially outwardly from a central hub. The frame may have axially extending side wall struts, with adjacent pairs of side wall struts joined at one or more apexes. Anchors extend from the frame and into the foam to engage tissue.

摘要： The present disclosure relates to the field of endovascular treatment. More particularly, the present invention uses a modified hydrogel intrasaccular occlusion device designed to implement an endovascular treatment to ameliorating or eliminating aneurysm recurrence, which hydrogel may optionally be impregnated with pharmaceutical compounds. The present invention also teaches the use of thin hydrogel coatings to ameliorate endovascular treatment related difficulties.
