摘要： A device for securing a nasal cannula to a patient includes a pair of opposing legs having a predefined opening therebetween and a clip secured to an opposite end of the pair of opposing legs. The pair of opposing legs are configured to slide over a nasal septum and are biased together to provide compression as the pair of legs are moved apart when sliding over the nasal septum. The clip has an opening configured to secure the device to a tube. Alternatively, a device for securing a nasal cannula to a patient includes an adhesive strip configured to be releasably attached to columella of the nasal septum and a clip secured to the adhesive strip and the clip has an opening configured to secure the device to a tube.

摘要： Disclosed herein are facial covering that are configured to be placed on facial skin and that may be placed on the skin in a sealed relationship such that air leakage is minimized. The covering may include a member configured to fit flush against skin surrounding at least one of nasal air passages and a mouth of a user, the member including at least one aperture to permit breathing through the nasal air passages, the member being configured to adhere to the skin; and filter material positioned within a space defined by the at least one aperture.

摘要： A system for delivering a therapeutic agent to nasopharyngeal mucosa tissue has a shaft, a porous pad of compliant material coupled to the shaft near the distal end, and a drug reservoir. The porous pad is configured to expand from a contracted configuration to an expanded configuration. The expanded configuration is adapted to engage and conform to the mucosa tissue in a nasal cavity, and the contracted configuration has a size suitable for introduction into the nasal cavity. The drug reservoir holds a therapeutic agent and is at least partially covered by the porous pad. The drug reservoir is configured to release a fixed volume of the therapeutic agent into the porous pad within a period of less than about 120 minutes, and has a wall with a plurality of channels fluidly coupled with the porous pad.

摘要： A nasal filter comprising two cap-shaped structures and a connecting strip. Two extremities of the connecting strip respectively are connected symmetrically to either of the cap-shaped structures. The nasal filter also comprises filter components. The filter components respectively are mounted at the bottom parts of the two cap-shaped structures. Several protrusions are provided on the inner walls of the cap-shaped structures. The bottom parts of the cap-shaped structures are constituted by several cap-shaped structure horizontal beams. The bottom parts and the protrusions jointly jam the filter components. The nasal filter is capable of preventing a filter material from being ejected to the exterior of the cap-shaped structures by air exhaled from the nasal cavities, allows for replacement of the filter material, thus improving the adaptability and economy of the nasal filter in different scenarios.

摘要： Described herein are nasal devices. In particular, layered nasal respiratory devices are described. Layered nasal device may include a layered airflow resistor that is configured to resist airflow in a first direction more than airflow in a second direction and that includes a flap valve adjacent to a flap valve limiting layer and an adhesive holdfast layer that is configured to secure the layered airflow resistor in communication with the subject's nasal cavity. Methods of using and methods of assembling layered nasal device are also described.

摘要： Improved passive resistance nasal devices for treating a patient (and particularly, but not exclusively, a sleeping patient) that inhibit exhalation more than inhalation. For example, described herein are passive-resistance nasal devices having a variable sized opening leak path that change the size of the leak path opening depending on the pressure extended across the nasal device. Also described herein are passive nasal devices including a deployable insertion guide member. Also described herein are passive nasal devices including an extension member to hold the airflow resistor portion of the nasal device slightly apart from the subject's nose, even as the nasal device itself may be secured against the nose or nostril openings. Methods of operating these nasal devices and methods of treating patients using these devices are also described.
