摘要： In an exhaust gas purification apparatus for an internal combustion engine in which a filter for trapping PM, and a deflector for deflecting exhaust gas flowing into the filter, are arranged in an exhaust passage, in cases where a state continues in which the flow rate of the exhaust gas does not change relatively, regeneration processing of the filter is carried out so that a local excessive temperature rise resulting from non-uniform deposition of PM does not occur. When an integrated period of time, which is obtained by integrating a period of time in which an amount of change per unit time of a flow rate of the exhaust gas deflected by the deflector is equal to or less than a predetermined threshold amount of change, becomes equal to or more than a predetermined threshold period of time, during the time the regeneration processing is not carried out, the controller performing the regeneration processing of the filter carries out the regeneration processing before an estimated amount of PM deposited in the filter becomes equal to or more than a predetermined threshold amount of deposition.

A support element section is arranged on a circumferential side of the filter medium outside of the sealing section and supports the flat filter element relative to an inner side of the filter housing, wherein the support element section projects past the filter element in at least one direction. The filter housing has a mounting opening through which the flat filter element is inserted into the interior where the flat filter element is arranged such that the inlet is separated from the outlet of the filter housing. A projection arranged on an inner side of the filter housing supports under mechanical tension the support element section of the flat filter element in a mounting position of the flat filter element in the interior.

摘要： An air filter has a filter housing and a filter element inserted in the interior of the filter housing. The filter element has an inflow surface and an outflow surface and a filter medium that extends between inflow and outflow surfaces. The filter element has a circumferentially extending seal arranged in the area of the inflow surface or outflow surface and interacting in the mounting position with the sealing surface of the filter housing to separate inlet and outlet of the air filter. A support device clamps the filter element transversely to the insertion direction in the filter housing by a transverse clamping action in a support area that is spaced from the seal. The transverse clamping action results by an insertion movement of the filter element into the filter housing by interaction of the filter element with inner sides of the filter housing.

摘要： The present invention discloses a dust filtration system of gas mixture of high temperature oil gas, water vapor and precipitation-prone carbides, which comprises a closed separation chamber connecting intake duct and exhaust duct. The closed separation chamber comprises a filter mechanism inside, the outer surface of the filter mechanism connects to the intake duct and the inner surface connects to the exhaust duct, and the dust filtration system comprises a filter regeneration mechanism. The present invention includes a filter regeneration mechanism set in the closed separation chamber connecting intake duct and exhaust duct, which can recover the filtering capacity greatly decreased due to the adhesion of tar and ash to the filter surface and pores. The repeated regeneration directly reduces the cost of filter and greatly improves its service life.

The device includes a filter in an exhaust passage of the internal combustion engine for collecting particulate matter in an exhaust gas, an electrostatic capacity detecting unit that detects an electrostatic capacity of the filter, and a filter regenerating unit that supplies fuel to the filter and executes a forced regeneration to burn and remove the particulate matter in the filter. The filter regenerating unit stops supplying fuel when a rate of decrease in the detected electrostatic capacity per predetermined period of time reaches or falls below a predetermined lower threshold, which indicates a drop in burning efficiency of the particulate matter, while the forced regeneration is being executed.

Further, the system includes detecting the temperature of the exhaust gas during DPD regeneration when the DPD is automatically regenerated, calculating a deviation between the detected temperature of the exhaust gas and a target temperature for the DPD regeneration, and controlling a quantity of the post injection by resetting an integral control term used in a PID control to zero when running mode automatic regeneration is shifted to idling mode automatic regeneration after a vehicle is stopped, when PID-controlling the quantity of the post injection based on the deviation.

The regeneration device is configured to perform two types of processing, that is, automatic regeneration processing for automatically performing regeneration not on the basis of an operation by an operator and manual regeneration processing for performing regeneration by notifying an operator to manually perform the regeneration and by performing the regeneration on the basis of an operation by the operator. In select embodiments, a body comprises ash particles, and the ash particles used to form the body may be selected based on their providing one or more desired properties for a given treatment. Various bodies provide for the reaction and/or removal of a substance in a fluid, often using a porous body comprised of ash particles. Computer-operable methods for matching a source material to an application are disclosed. Certain aspects feature a porous body comprised of ash particles, the ash particles have a particle size distribution and interparticle connectivity that creates a plurality of pores having a pore size distribution and pore connectivity, and the pore size distribution and pore connectivity are such that a first fluid may substantially penetrate the pores.
