摘要： The invention relates to a centrifuge (10), having a drive shaft (12), a rotor (14), which is mounted on the drive shaft (12) and is axially removable in a removal direction (26), a quick closure (20), which operates between the rotor (14) and the drive shaft (12) and by means of which the rotor (14) can be fixed relative to the drive shaft (12) in the removal direction (26), a thrust bearing (44) connected to the drive shaft (12), a locking bearing (24) connected to the rotor (14), at least one blocking element (38), which, when activated, fixes the rotor (14) relative to the drive shaft (12) and operates between the locking bearing (24) of the rotor (14) and the thrust bearing (44) of the drive shaft (12). The pivot axis (38b) is aligned perpendicular to a straight line parallel to the drive shaft (12) and the blocking element (38) has a cardan shaft (38a), which is rotatable about the pivot axis (38b), and is connected to a bearing (40) via the cardan shaft (38a).

摘要： A rotary vessel for a filter assembly has a rotor body rotatable about an axis of rotation and a spigot, integral or coupled with the rotor body, extending away from the rotary body along the axis of rotation. The spigot has an abutment surface against which, in use, a cooperating surface of the filter assembly abuts to inhibit movement of the rotary vessel relative to the cooperating surface and parallel to the axis of rotation. The filter assembly has a housing with main body and closure member separably attachable to the main body. The closure member retains the rotary vessel inside the housing and is separable from the main body to permit removal of the rotary vessel from the housing. A connector releasably couples the closure member to the rotary vessel such that the rotary vessel is removable from the housing by separating closure member and main body.

摘要： A machine is intended to separate the colloidal solids from a fluid by using centrifugal force. The machine has a vertical cylinder mounted at the end of a hollow shaft with sludge dispenser and clear water dispenser nozzles. The drum is rotated at high speed by a motor and pulley assembly fixed parallel. The effluent is fed to the separation chamber through the hollow shaft and the sludge is pushed out though the nozzles fixed at the periphery of the drum and clear water flows out through the nozzles fixed at the doubled chambered hollow shaft.

摘要： A method and system for separating a suspension into solid and fluid components. The suspension is centrifuged about a substantially vertical axis of rotation to concentrate solid components in a first lower flow stream and fluid components in a first upper flow stream. The first upper flow stream may be centrifuged about a substantially vertical axis of rotation to concentrate solid components in a second lower flow stream and fluid components in a second upper flow stream. The first lower flow stream, the second lower flow stream, or both, may be centrifuged about a substantially horizontal axis of rotation to separate water from stackable dry tailings. The method and system may be applied to separation of tailings or other suspensions.

摘要： A cooling device for cooling of a seal fixed in a non-rotatable member and with a circumferential contact surface on a rotating member. A closed ring-formed chamber is arranged in the rotating member radially inside of the seal. The chamber contains an amount of cooling medium which at normal rotating operation is both liquid and gaseous, such that the liquid cooling medium which by centrifugal forces is pressed towards the outer wall of the chamber is evaporated from the heat generated by the seal, and where a cooling member is arranged on the rotating member to cool an area radially inside of the chamber, such that the gaseous cooling medium is condensed from the cooling effect of the cooling member. The invention also relates to a centrifugal separator comprising such a cooling device.

The system includes a rotor, a stator, a stator housing, upper and lower bearing plates, upper and lower bearings, first and second snap rings, and lip seal. The upper bearing rotatably secures a shaft of the rotor in the upper bearing plate. The first snap ring secures the upper bearing to the rotor shaft. The lip seal is over the upper bearing and forms a rotatable seal with the upper bearing plate. The second snap ring secures the lip seal to an inner diameter of the upper bearing plate. The upper and lower bearing plates are secured to the stator housing so that the rotor is operatively aligned with the stator.
