摘要： [Problem to Be Solved] A pouring control method for controlling an automatic pouring device with a tilting-type ladle is provided. By the method, a lip of a pouring ladle approaches a sprue of a mold without striking any object located within the range of its movement. Also, by the method, the molten metal that runs out of the ladle can accurately fill the mold. [Solution] The pouring control method comprises the steps of setting a target flow rate of molten metal to be poured, generating a voltage to input it to a motor that tilts the ladle (hereafter, the tilting motor) so as to reach the target flow rate of the molten metal based on an inverse model of a mathematical model of molten metal that runs out of a pouring ladle and an inverse model of the tilting motor, estimating the flow rate of the molten metal that runs out of the ladle, estimating the falling position and getting the estimated falling position to be a target position, and generating a trajectory for the movement of the pouring ladle wherein the trajectory causes the height of the lip of the pouring ladle above the level of a sprue of a mold to decrease.

摘要： A vacuum induction melting and strip casting equipment for rare earth permanent magnetic alloy includes a vacuum induction melting and strip casting chamber, a material receiving heat preservation treatment chamber, a cooling chamber and an isolation valve. The isolation valve is located between the material receiving heat preservation treatment chamber and the cooling chamber, the vacuum induction melting and strip casting chamber is located above the material receiving heat preservation treatment chamber, an outlet of a material guiding tube of the vacuum induction melting and strip casting chamber is corresponding to the material receiving heat preservation treatment chamber. Water-cooled electrodes, a vacuum pumping device, an inert gas introduction pipeline, a temperature measurement mechanism, a pressure gauge, a vacuum gauge and a safety valve are provided on the vacuum induction melting and strip casting chamber. The present invention improves the production efficiency and has high production performance and good consistence.

摘要： Automated processes that dynamically control rate of delivery of molten metal to a mold during a casting process. Such automated processes can use dynamic metal level variation, control pin pulses and/or oscillation during the mold fill and transient portion of the cast. It has been found that such pulses keep metal flowing in a manner that addresses problems, particularly at the beginning of an ingot cast, associated with metal meniscus contracting and pulling away from the mold on the short faces and corners.

摘要： A shaped metal casting made in an aggregate mold comprises fine solidification microstructure that is finer than the solidification microstructure of an analogous metal casting made from conventional molding processes. The solidification microstructure may be up to five times finer than the solidification microstructure of a conventionally prepared casting. In preferred embodiments, as a result of directional solidification, the fine solidification microstructure is substantially continuous from a distal end of the casting to a proximal end of the casting, and exhibits greatly enhanced soundness. Because of the control of the uniformity of freezing of the casting, its properties are substantially uniform.

摘要： The vertical filling level of electrically conductive material in a cavity of a metallurgical vessel is measured by a system including a transmitting conductor for generating an electromagnetic field when connected to an alternating power source, and a receiving conductor which senses the electromagnetic field for generation of an output signal. The conductors are arranged inside a metal casing of the vessel to co-extend with a mutual spacing defining a spacing area that faces the cavity and extends along the periphery in an essentially closed loop. The mutual spacing is selected such that changes in the output signal is dominated by changes to the electromagnetic field caused by local changes in the amount of the conductive material adjacent the spacing. Part of the spacing area defines a vertical measurement region slanted along the periphery so as to diverge from the horizontal and vertical directions of the vessel.
