摘要： A beam machining head (10; 100; 200) for beam cutting of a workpiece is provided, having an interface (12) for an energy beam source (14; 14, 201) for generating a focused machining energy beam (15; 206) selected from a particle beam source, a fuel fluid beam source, a plasma beam source and/or a source for electromagnetic radiation; an exit opening (16) for the machining energy beam bounded by an opening edge (18); an optical detector unit (19) for recording at least one image of an electromagnetic radiation (17) emitted from the workpiece (11) through the exit opening into the beam machining head (10; 100; 200) and induced in the workpiece by the machining energy beam; and a monitoring unit (30) connected in a data-transmitting manner to the optical detector unit for monitoring a positional relationship between a centre of the emitted electromagnetic radiation and the exit opening, wherein the monitoring unit (30) has: a first determination module for determining at least one position (180; 182) of the exit opening in the at least one image; a second determination module for determining at least one position (170) of the centre of the emitted electromagnetic radiation in the at least one image; and a third determination module for determining the positional relationship between the at least one position (170) of the centre of the emitted electromagnetic radiation and the at least one position (180; 182) of the exit opening (16). A beam machining device and a method for beam cutting are further disclosed.

An optical path direction of the beam emitted from a laser oscillator supported by the laser oscillator support table is defined as the X-axis direction. The laser oscillator support table further includes a rotating plate that is mounted on the Y-axis direction moving plate rotatably around a rotation center pin fixed to the Y-axis direction moving plate and supports the laser oscillator, a Y-axis direction movement unit that moves the Y-axis direction moving plate in the Y-axis direction, and a rotational movement unit that rotates the rotating plate around the rotation center pin in a plane parallel to a plane formed by the X-axis direction and the Y-axis direction.

摘要： A method of preparing an apparatus for material processing by generating optical breakthroughs in an object. The apparatus includes a variable focus adjustment device. A contact element is mounted to the apparatus, the contact element has a curved contact surface having a previously known shape. The position of the contact surface is determined prior to processing the object, by focusing measurement laser radiation near or on the surface by the variable focus adjustment device, and the focus position is adjusted in a measurement surface intersecting the expected position of the contact surface. Radiation from the focus of the measurement laser radiation is confocally detected. The position of points of intersection between the measurement surface and the contact surface is determined from the confocally detected radiation to determine the position of the contact surface from the position of the points of intersection and the previously known shape of the contact surface.

摘要： A sensor is provided near an additive manufacturing (AM) part during fabrication to provide information about the condition of the additive material during fabrication. Sensor measurements are used for in situ monitoring and control of the AM system. By placing a sensor at this location, information at or near this location may be collected and then analyzed to determine if the AM process is proceeding acceptably, or if real-time modifications to the process should be made to improve the performance of the process. Conditions monitored by the sensor may include the melt pool dimensions, the temperature ahead of and at the melt pool, properties of the powder bed such as temperature and particle size distribution, local powder conditions, prior layer condition, and applied layer condition behind the laser. A control system uses these monitored conditions to adjust and control the ongoing AM fabrication process.

摘要： A method of calibrating laser alignment for a direct laser deposition machine having a powder dispensing nozzle aligned with a laser source, comprises the steps of:(i) providing a test coupon;(ii) firing a powder pulse at the test coupon to create a first circular imprint;(iii) firing a laser beam pulse at the test coupon to create a second circular imprint;(iv) aligning a first template, comprising a first outline, with the second circular imprint;(v) positioning a second template, comprising a second outline, concentrically with the first template;(vi) imaging the test coupon to generate a first image;(vii) cropping the first image to the second outline to create a second image;(viii) determining an overlap area between the first circular imprint and the second outline; and(ix) generating an alert if the overlap area is less than a predetermined value.
