摘要： A pressed thermite rod for a self-contained portable cutting device is disclosed having a longitudinal section of a rectangle shape and a cross-section of an elongated shape on its entire length with a height to width ratio ranging from 1.2 to 2.0 and with long sides parallel at least in their middle section. The cross-section of the pressed thermite rod may be close to rectangular. In other embodiments, the pressed thermite rod has a rectangular cross-section with rounded corners; convex rounded short sides; or rounded corners at a first short side and a convex rounded second short side.

摘要： The present invention relates to a cutting torch system having an ignition mode and a cooling and cleaning mode. The cutting torch system comprises a cutting torch (1) having a cutting oxygen channel (4), a heating oxygen channel (5), and a fuel gas channel (6) The heating oxygen channel (5) and the fuel gas channel (6) are connected to an ignition mixer (7) and a fuel gas shut-off valve (8) is arranged upstream of the ignition mixer (7). The fuel gas shut-off valve (8) is configured to be open in the ignition mode and closed in the cleaning and cooling mode. The ignition mixer (7) is adapted for mixing heating oxygen and fuel gas into an ignition gas and communicating the ignition gas into the cutting oxygen channel (4) in the ignition mode, and for communicating heating oxygen into the cutting oxygen channel (4) in the cleaning and cooling mode.

In one embodiment, the device includes a hub assembly with a rotatable ring and a plurality of RM feed assemblies attached to the ring. In another embodiment, the device includes a disc, wherein the disc is rotatable and includes a plurality of slots, a shaft joined to the disc about which the disc rotates and a plurality of RM feed assemblies attached to the disc and arranged in the slots thereof. In another embodiment, the device includes a plurality of carts linked together, wherein each of the carts includes a cart body to which is coupled to an idler wheel, a wheel with an in-wheel motor and a platform and for each cart, a RM feed assembly retained on the platform. The RM feed assemblies include ejecta nozzles that may be positioned at selectable angles.
