摘要： Pressing jaws for opposite arrangement in crimping pliers, the pressing jaws having ribs, which extend in a rib longitudinal direction and move into each other during pressing. A guide surface extending transversely to the rib longitudinal direction outside of a working region of the ribs is formed, which guide surface interacts with a guide protrusion extending from the opposite pressing jaw. In another version, the pressing jaws have ribs, which are designed to mesh with each other and which have a rib longitudinal direction. Crimping pliers comprise two plier jaws, which are provided with oppositely arranged pressing jaws having ribs, which extend in a rib longitudinal direction and which, during pressing, move into each other and delimit a pressing jaw opening.

摘要： A tool for removing rail clips of the kind which are applied transversely to the rail, which includes a pair of levers connected at a pivot point and being adapted to move toward or away from each other. Each lever has at its lower end, a rail clip engagement face which engage opposed sides of a rail clip seating transversely on the rail base. Each clip engagement face includes a clamp plate adapted to abut one side of the toes of the rail clip, an engagement pin adapted to engage one side of the rear portion of said rail clip, and a reaction pivot rear edge adapted to pivot about a point behind said rail clip. This arrangement allows the tool to be opened by moving the levers away from each other, placing the engagement faces on either side of the clip and then bringing the levers together so that the clamp plates compress the toes of the clip together so that the clip can be removed rearwardly from the rail clip support shoulder. When the toes are compressed the engagement pin abuts the rear curved portion of the rail clip and by pulling the levers away from the rail about the rear pivot base edge the rail clip is withdrawn from the base of the rail into the rail clip support shoulder.

The second grip portion includes a top grip portion provided at the top handle and a bottom grip portion provided at the bottom handle. The top and bottom grip portions substantially face each other. The first grip portion is made of a metallic material and the second grip portion is made of a non-metallic material.

The spring-biased lock is allowed to engage with the teeth or enter the cutout when an end of the slot is placed against one of the screws. The spring-biased lock is removed from the teeth and the cutout when another end of the slot is placed against the screw.

摘要： The invention relates to manual pliers (1) which comprise a fixed cutting jaw (26) and a movable cutting jaw (23). The manual pliers (1) comprise a first maximal opening position in which it is possible to run through a working stroke part caused by the closure of the hand levers (2). In the first maximal opening position the latching lever (16) and a pushing lever (19) engage with a toothing (32) of the movable cutting jaw (23). With the actuation of the latching lever (16) it is possible to transfer the manual pliers into a second maximal opening position in which the opening angle of the hand levers (2) is larger than in the first maximal opening position. In the second maximal opening position the latching lever (16) and the pushing lever (19) do not engage with the toothing (32) of the movable cutting jaw (23). For the definition of the two opening positions, two stops are used which are formed by the latching lever (16) and a swivel bolt of the latching lever (16).

The mechanism includes a rack that has first and second cogs, each having back-slanted teeth and arranged on an upper and a lower edge, respectively, a front end, a pivotable lever that comprises a hollow top end receiving a torsion spring, bearing against the hollow top end of the lever and against a thrust pawl pivoting in the hollow body in front of the hollow top end of the lever. A crosspiece is inserted between the teeth of the first cog. A pivotable locking pawl is provided with a crosspiece inserted between the teeth of the second cog. A compression spring is arranged to bear against the locking pawl and against an abutment located at a rear end of the rack.
