摘要： The purpose of the present invention is to obtain a fiber-reinforced composite material molded article having high adhesive strength in a boundary portion between an insert portion comprising a fiber-reinforced resin substrate and an integrally molded portion molded integrally with the insert portion. A fiber-reinforced composite material molded article (1) containing reinforcing fibers and a thermoplastic resin and being provided with a first layer (23), a second layer (22), and a third layer (21) in this order, the thickness of each layer, the ratio of the total volume of reinforcing fibers (x2) having a fiber length of 3 mm to less than 100 mm with respect to the total volume of reinforcing fibers present in the layer, the ratio of the total volume of reinforcing fibers (y2) having a fiber length of 0.02 mm to less than 3 mm with respect to the total volume of reinforcing fibers present in the layer, and the volume content of fibers in each layer being controlled so as to be in specific ranges.

摘要： A pipe sealing gasket is shown which is designed to be received within a raceway provided within a socket end of a female bell plastic pipe end which is assembled with a mating male pipe end to form a plastic pipe joint. The raceway is preformed about the gasket during the pipe belling operation. The gasket has a rubber body portion which is reinforced by a hard plastic band formed as a series of integral, spaced wedges which are interconnected by a flexible ribbon. The hard plastic band acts to prevent extrusion of the gasket during a variety of pressure conditions as well as preventing displacement during field assembly.

摘要： A protective case for a mobile device having a co-molded multi-layered construction having a first layer that generally forms the external back face surface of the case. A second layer generally forms the perimeter bumper of the case. The first layer is comprised of material that has a hardness and/or rigidity that is greater than the second layer. The layers are configured to interact with one another so that they are capable of distributing impact forces to mitigate damage to the mobile device. One or more reinforcing support members in the form of a beam or rod are provided and extend internally and longitudinally near the sides of the case and preferably near the long sides of a rectangular shaped case. The reinforcing support members are formed of even harder or more rigid materials, such as metal alloy or cured fiber reinforced composite rods or beams, relative to the first and second layer and are capable of providing additional support and rigidity to the mobile device to stop or mitigate unintentional or undesired bending of the mobile device.
