摘要： The invention relates to a punching and/or welding machine for acting on a piece of motor vehicle bodywork that is made of plastics material, the machine having movable punching and/or welding tools, each of which is adjusted to perform a punching and/or welding operation and that are transferred from a waiting position to a working position for performing the punching and/or welding operation, the punching and/or welding operation being performed in three stages: a) transferring from a waiting position at a distance from a skin of the piece in order to come into a working position in contact with the skin; b) performing the punching and/or the welding; and then c) returning to the waiting position; the device further comprising a support for receiving the skin in a determined position. The support and the movable tools are arranged in such a manner that, once the skin has been positioned on the support, it defines, possibly in association with a protective screen, a safety volume within which the movable tools move in order to perform the punching and/or welding operations on the skin.

摘要： A molding apparatus that adsorbs thermoplastic resin extruded in a sheet form from an extruding machine, onto a cavity of a mold, and shapes the thermoplastic resin into a shape according to the cavity is provided. The molding apparatus may include a frame that is positioned on a periphery of the mold and is movable relative to the mold, wherein a suction part for suctioning the thermoplastic resin is provided in a contact surface of the frame to contact the thermoplastic resin, and the suction part is provided in a linear shape along with a longitudinal direction of the frame positioned on the periphery of the mold.

摘要： An active bolster mounts at an interior trim surface of an automotive vehicle to act as a cushion in an impact event. The bolster has a plastic-molded, expandable bladder wall having concentric pleats terminating with a skirt. A bilateral welding flange integrally extends from the skirt. A plastic-molded trim wall overlies the bladder wall. The bilateral welding flange forms a hot weld with the trim wall to provide an inflatable cavity for receiving an inflation gas during an impact event. The bilateral welding flange includes a plate member molded to extend radially outward from the skirt and a neck member molded to extend substantially parallel with the skirt. The hot weld deflects the neck member to extend radially inward from the skirt so that the neck member is exposed to the inflatable cavity whereby a pressure from the inflation gas pushes the neck member against the trim wall.

A bladder is placed in the cavity to react autoclave pressure on the charge. The bladder is coupled with a flexible fluid reservoir located beneath the vacuum bag. The jaws in both of the tube clamps of both tube holders have smooth tube contacting walls to permit the tubing to slip through either side when the tube holders and tubes are being moved from a loading station to a stripping station to increase the length of fluid free area in the clamped tubes. A cutting/welding station provides for cutting the tubes and welding them together.

摘要： A method for dwelling a portion of a web is disclosed. A web can be conveyed at a first velocity by an apparatus comprising a first traversing guide and a second traversing guide operatively connected in a fixed spatial relationship. The first traversing guide and the second traversing guide can be moveable from a start position in a substantially linear path. The first traversing guide and the second traversing guide can be moved in a first direction at a second velocity equal to about one half the first velocity for a dwell time. One or more processing stations can bond the at least two layers of the web. The first traversing guide and the second traversing guide can be accelerated and decelerated in a second direction opposite the first direction until the first traversing guide and the second traversing guide are returned to the start position in a return time.

摘要： For use in loading heavy sticks of plastic pipe into a pipe fusion machine, a pipe storage rack with hydraulically powered pipe stick dispensers and stands allows sticks of pipe stored on the rack to roll gravitationally onto a rocking V-shaped dispenser cam disposed between the rack and the fusion machine loading path for one-stick-at-a-time loading onto powered track and roller stands which enable Cartesian manipulation of the stick into the fusion machine. The cam is adjustable to suit pipe stick diameters ranging from 20″ to 48″. Many sticks can be stored at one time, releasing heavy lifting equipment and operators to work elsewhere. The process requires only one operator using a pendant controller and the pipe sticks are handled by heavy equipment only when being loaded onto the racks.
