The first binding unit moves to a binding position, and if the number-of-sheets determining unit determines that the number of to-be-bound sheets exceeds the number of bindable sheets of the first binding unit, the first binding unit moves away from the binding position. When the number-of-sheets determining unit determines that the number of to-be-bound sheets exceeds the number of bindable sheets of the first binding unit, the second binding unit moves to the binding position.

摘要： An edge embosser for converting paper tissue, having three processing stations, two for engraving (1) and (2) and one for joining (3), between which there are continuous strips of ordinary paper, wherein (P1) is a lower or inner strip and (P2) is an upper or outer strip, so that they can both be embossed with any pattern in the two first stations (1) and (2), and then both are joined by their edges through station (3) forming a finished continuous strip of paper (P3); each engraving station (1 and 2) comprises a pair of rolls, one made of rubber (4A-4B) and the other of engraved steel (5A-5B), where the latter are pulled by the corresponding continuous inner and outer strip of paper (P1 or P2) passing between each pair and guided by casters (6, 7, 8 and 9); said joining station (3) is placed after the two engraving stations (1-2), and it also comprises two rollers, a wheel roller (10) and a pulled counter-wheel roller (11), between which the continuous strips of paper (P1 and P2) are aligned, so that they can be joined by their edges and, thus, said wheel roller (10) presents, along its length, various rings (12) mounted on O-rings (13), each ring constituting the protruding means for supplementary pressure and the realization of the fastening bands by mechanical lamination (F).

摘要： An object of the present invention is to provide an embossed crepe paper which can clearly be formed into fine embossed shapes, and is excellent in the fluffy feel and therefore excellent in such as absorbency for fats. As a means of achieving this object, the method for manufacturing an embossed crepe paper, according to the present invention, is a method for manufacturing an embossed crepe paper comprising a step of embossing a raw crepe paper, wherein: a raw paper having a basis weight of 6 to 28 g/m2 is used as the raw crepe paper; and the embossing step includes the steps of: (a) supplying the raw crepe paper with water in an amount of 0.1 to 100 weight % based on the basis weight to thereby put the raw crepe paper in a wet condition; (b) embossing the wet-conditioned raw crepe paper; and (c) drying the embossed wet-conditioned raw crepe paper.

摘要： A method of imparting bulk and/or visual aesthetics to a tissue basesheet involves pressing the basesheet with a felt having a raised pattern on it so that the pattern becomes inherent in the sheet. A pattern is stitched into a carrier layer which is joined to a substrate to form the felt. As the basesheet is pressed into the felt, the raised pattern displaces fibers in the sheet, effectively inducing the pattern in the basesheet. The novel felt with a raised patterned layer is also disclosed.
