In some examples, individual ones of the first and second segments can comprise specular reflecting, transparent, diffusely reflecting, and/or diffusely transmissive features. In some examples, individual ones of the first and second segments can comprise transparent and non-transparent regions. Some examples can incorporate more than one region producing an optical effect.

摘要： Disclosed herein is a method for forming a surface relief microstructure, including the steps of A) applying a curable composition to at least a portion of the frontside of the paper substrate, B) contacting at least a portion of the curable composition with surface relief microstructure, C) curing the composition by using at least one UV lamp which is arranged on the backside of the paper substrate, and D) depositing a metallic layer, and optionally a layer of a transparent high refractive index material, on at least a portion of the cured composition, wherein the UV lamp has an emission peak in a UV-A range of 320 nm to 400 nm and additionally in a near VIS range of 400 nm to 450 nm, the curable composition comprises a photoinitiator which absorbs in the UV-A range and also in the near VIS range.

摘要： Disclosed is a structure for preventing counterfeit, falsification or reuse, including a metal layer, a photoconversion pattern layer including a plurality of photoconverting nanoparticles formed on the metal layer, a metal pattern layer placed on the metal layer and the photoconversion pattern layer, and an adhesive film placed on the metal pattern layer. Accordingly, the structure for preventing counterfeit, falsification or reuse according to the present disclosure allows a pattern indicating a genuine product to be easily identified with an eye through infrared light irradiation, and is fundamentally impossible to re-assemble after deformation of the structure caused by disassembly of a packaging container, thereby preventing counterfeit, falsification or reuse.

摘要： According to one aspect, the invention relates to an optical security component intended for being observed under direct reflection. The component comprises a structure engraved on a layer of a material having a refraction index n2, a thin layer of a dielectric material having a refraction index n1 other than n2, deposited on the structure, and a layer of a material having a refraction index n0 other than n1, encapsulating the coated structure of the thin layer. The structure has a first pattern modulated by a second pattern such that, in at least one first region (61, 86), the first pattern comprises a low-relief with a first set of facets, the shapes of which are determined such as to generate at least one first concave or convex cylindrical reflective element, and the second pattern forms a first subwavelength grating acting, after depositing the thin layer and encapsulating the structure, as a first wavelength-subtractive filter; in at least one second region (62, 86), the first pattern comprises a low-relief with a second set of facets in which the shapes are determined such as to generate at least one concave or convex cylindrical reflective element (64), and the second pattern forms a second subwavelength grating acting, after depositing the thin layer and encapsulating the structure, as a second wavelength-subtractive filter, separate from the first wave-length-subtractive filter. Each subwavelength grating can be a zero order diffraction grating such as a DID.
