    • A suspension assembly for a vehicle has left and right suspension arms, left and right shock absorbers operatively connected to their corresponding suspension arms, a sway bar operatively connected to the left and right suspension arms, left and right hinges pivotally connecting corresponding ends of the sway bar to their corresponding suspension arms. Each hinge includes a first hinge member pivotally connected to its corresponding end of the sway bar, a second hinge member pivotally connected to its corresponding suspension arm, the second hinge member being pivotally connected to the first hinge member, and a hinge lock selectively rigidly connecting the first hinge member to the second left member to prevent the first hinge member from pivoting relative to the second hinge member. A vehicle having the suspension assembly is also disclosed.

    • A disconnectible stabilizer bar assembly for a vehicle having first and second stabilizer bar halves, a housing fixed to an end portion of each stabilizer bar half, so as to align the two halves. The housing containing a stator with magnetic coil, a rotor with exterior magnets and threaded onto a hollow screw, with the stator selectively rotating the rotor and the rotation translated into axial movement of the screw. The screw having meshing means on an interior surface and an end face, the interior meshing means meshed with an exterior meshing means on one of the stabilizer bar halves, and the end face meshing means selectively coupled and decoupled with aligned mashing means on the other of the stabilizer bar halves.

    • A stabilizer control apparatus includes a stabilizer bar including both ends supported by right and left wheels of a vehicle, respectively, and an intermediate portion supported to a vehicle body by first and second supporting members, and a switching device arranged between one of the first and second supporting members and the vehicle body and including a cylinder member, a tubular piston member, a spring member, and an engaging/disengaging mechanism. The switching device switches over the spring member from an extendable/retractable position to a neutral position and vice versa. The engaging/disengaging mechanism allows the piston member to axially move relative to the cylinder member when the spring member is in the extendable/retractable position and prevents the piston member from axially moving relative to the cylinder member when the spring member is retained in the neutral position.
